In these regions, the 2016 model is available under a scheme called the Volt Incremental Consumer Cash Program, wherein the customers can get a $1000 bonus. This scheme is on till November 2 only in these specific states where the 2016 Chevrolet Volt will be released.

It is important to note that the Volt Incremental Consumer Cash Program cannot be combined with other promotional offers and lease rate offerings, although it is reportedly available with the $500 ‘Conquest’ incentive targeted at non-GM clients.

Simultaneously, heavy discounts on the 2015 Volt model will continue to be available. Till November 2, the first generation model will get up to $2500 in discounts and incentives. People with a Volt model of 2011 or thereafter are eligible for a loyalty bonus of $2500 if they choose to purchase a newer model or another Chevy. The loyalty bonus is on offer on 16 models of Chevrolet, but not on the 2016 Volt model.

This bonus can also be available on many Chevrolet SUVs and trucks including the Silverado, Camaro, Suburban, Colorado and Tahoe. This scheme is reportedly aimed at retaining the Chevrolet customers in those states where the 2016 Volt version is yet to be received from shifting loyalties.

The highly anticipated 2016 Chevrolet Volt is expected to have a driving range of 53 miles and its starting price is estimated to be around $33,170. While the price is not as low as expected or as other available cars, experts opine that the 2016 Volt will deliver enhanced fuel-efficiency and a ‘cleaner’ output.
