The 2016 Jaguar XF sport sedan is now official and there is no doubt that this is a car that can only be imagined.
Jaguar has done amazingly well in the sports car industry with its F-Type models as well as the forthcoming XE sport sedan. However, the new Jaguar XF Sport 2016 model comes in with something different from this auto maker as the company tries to turn this sparkle into something real with the much distinctive, quick and very comfortable 2016 XF sport sedan. Despite its distinctive nature, this model is for sure practical enough to give Germans a run for their money.
2016 Jaguar XF sport sedan is quick and comfortable
Well, it is true to say that the 2016 XF Jaguar is not as glamorous as it might sound, but one thing that is for sure is that this new model is quick and comfortable. There is no doubt that the elegantly aggressive design of the sedan will win over the pockets of most buyers, similar to what Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi models are doing to buyers.
The news about this new Jaguar XF was first heard in April when this British auto maker announced this 2016 version. At that time, not many enthusiasts were happy with the announcement thanks to the hefty price tag on the car. However, the latest reports suggest that the new 2016 Jaguar XF sedan will be available in various options that are much more affordable.
When compared with other models such as BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz, Jaguar models are known to be more expensive. However, the new model means, now, even the average users can enjoy this new ride. There will be an entry level, mid-level as well as a sports edition.
Lighter body, with aluminum alloy
According to news coming from Digital Trends, the new 2016 Jaguar XF sedan will be lighter and the hood plus the front fenders will be made of an aluminum alloy. On the other hand, the cross-car beam and front-end carrier will be made of a magnesium alloy. With these changes, the upcoming Jaguar XF will be 265 pounds lighter than the current edition.
As noted earlier, Jaguar will avail the 2016 XF sedan in three trim levels. The entry level will consist of a 35i Premium model equipped with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that manages 340hp and 332 pound-feet torque. This model also carries a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox in addition to a standard infotainment system. The starter level will cost $52,895.
Jaguar will again offer a mid-level 35t trim for $57,545 while the sports version will cost about $61,645. There is a high-end XF S version which comes with a turbocharged V6 engine, 380hp, but it costs $63, 695. If you feel like making the 2016 Jaguar XF sedan an all-wheel drive, you will have to add an extra $3000 to the initial package. However, if the above values are too high for you, there are reports that Jaguar will be rolling out a turbo diesel version this coming year and it will cost less than $50,000.
The 2016 Jaguar XF sedan is expected to start selling towards the end of the year, during winter.
