Renault has expanded and upgraded its Captur range of models for 2016.
The new series now offers new customization options for buyers, styling kits and varied powertrain options to choose from.
The base model of the 2016 Renault Captur is priced at £14,575 and is expected to be in the same range in other regions. The SUV has been upgraded with a special edition version which will be limited in numbers. All Dynamique Nav level and other trimline variants are equipped with a revamped gearbox system combined with new tweaked version of the engine. The variant is priced at £16,575. It is powered by a 1.2 litre TCe 120 engine which has a fuel efficiency of 51.4 miles per gallon and the CO2 emission is rated at 125g/kilometer. The variant uses a six speed manual gearbox system.
Captur range of cars from Renault has their range topping trimlines marked by the Dynamique Nav and the Dynamique S Nav. Buyers of these particular models have the option to go for a new color variant, the red metallic variant while the color is contrasted with diamond black roof. The add-on will set them back by an additional £595. By adding another hundred pounds, they can upgrade the interiors with a red pack which adds the metallic finish to the center console, dashboard, speakers and the air vents.
The 2016 Renault Captur Special Editionis priced at £19,175. It is the best Captur SUV that you could get. The trimline named Iconic Nav edition boasts of an exclusive Arctic White pearlescent paint contrasted with two tone black details. The roofs of the special edition car are blue and the same color tone is carried out in the mirror decals. They are equipped with large 17-inch alloy wheels. The blue color tone is used throughout the interior including the leather upholstery and the blue tinted add-ons.
Basic components which are part of the special Iconic Nav edition includes Grip Xtend traction control, a proprietary system designed by Renault, versatile tires made for both snow and dirt, and a reverse parking camera. The car is integrated with R-Link touchscreen infotainment system which supports satellite navigation and makes it easier for the passengers to find their way in new areas.
With plenty of features and a price tag meant for the average buyer, the 2016 Renault Captur SUV is expected to make a mark in the UK region. It may witness good sales in other regions as well which we can comment on after the official launch.
