The company has revealed the official pricing for the SUV which starts at a moderate $29,270. While the size of the vehicle makes it difficult to use it as an everyday commuter’s car, it is ideal for long trips with your entire family. Toyota has been constantly building its line-up of hybrid-gasoline vehicles and the new RAV4 is the is the 8th one in their hybrid collection. The earlier models which comes with dual engines are the Avalon, Camry and the Highlander. While the company tries to offer hybrids in all their popular models, the dedicated electric cars are the ones that people love. It includes the Prius range with PHEV, V and C variants.
If you go by the $29,270 price tag for the entry level variant of the hybrid RAV4, it is probably the cheapest one that Toyota offers. There are two different trim levels to choose from, namely the XLE and the LTD. The XLE is the one which is going to set you back by $29k while the pricing of the LTD is set at a much higher, $34,510.
For the convenience of buyers, Toyota has ensured that the pricing of the cars include a delivery charge of $900. People living in most regions will be able to receive the cars in their doorsteps as the cost is ideal for most part of the country while select regions may cost a bit more.
The SUV is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson engine and has an electric motor which delivers a maximum mileage of 34 mpg on full charge. The car uses an all-wheel drive system and can touch 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 8.1 seconds. The total power of the car when both engines are combined is at 194 horsepower with 206 pound feet of torque.
A couple of technically advanced stuff has been integrated into the vehicle including Entune Audio Plus, a Navigation app and the 6.1-inch touch screen makes it easy to control the infotainment system. You can also upgrade the screen size by opting for the higher trim level.
