The grand Los Angeles Auto Expo is at its concluding phase, but it didn’t hinder automobile manufacturers from showing their best cars.
After all, they have a lot of competition to overcome and here we have the 2017 Bentley Bentayga First Edition.
At first look, the car might look like any other SUV, but it has a lot of utility features, upgrades and a luxurious interior that ensures a comfortable ride for the passengers. The First Edition model is a special variant which will obviously be limited in quantity and will be available only for those who pre-order it.
Some of the unique features available in this model include the Union Jack badge, the large 22-inch alloy wheels sporting stylish aluminum accents and it has door sill plates which are illuminated for an added flamboyance. The SUV is expected to be priced under $300k, a price tag considered affordable by those who are familiar with the Bentley brand and have been buying their vehicles for a long time.
It will be available for people around the globe but only 608 of them will be able to pre-order and receive the SUV. If you have plans to buy this car, it’s too late already, because the official statement from Bentley confirmed that the vehicle is already sold out. Selling six hundred vehicles in minutes is not an easy task, but considering the world’s population and the exclusivity of the SUV, it is not such a difficult accomplishment.
On the inside, the 2017 Bentley Bentayga First Edition is powered by a 6.0 liter W12 twin turbocharged engine which offers an awesome 600 horsepower with 663 lb feet of torque. It is not just good on paper, but in real roads as well as the SUV can zoom from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4 seconds despite its heavy build.
The total weight of the car is measured at 5,340 pounds and it has a maximum speed of 187 miles per hour. Apart from the performance features, the car uses special leather stitching for its seats which looks classy and has the words ‘First Edition’ printed on it to show that you are one among the small list of exclusive customers.
Bentley, in association with the watch manufacturer Breitling launched this exclusive model. As part of their promotion strategy, the car includes a Bentayga watch which has its design elements sprinkled all over the SUV to match its owner’s style preferences.
