Buick has made the pricing for the 2017 LaCrosse official.
The base model is priced at $32,990 which includes destination charges. The pricing is $1,000 more than the outgoing model and if the automaker may offer better features, people may not hesitate to go for it.
Despite the increase in price tag, the car is still cheaper when compared to its immediately rivals including Lincoln MKZ and Lexus ES. According to the company’s statement, the 2017 Buick LaCrosse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The car is capable of delivering a total of 305 horsepower and has 268 lb feet of torque. It is mated to an eight speed automatic transmission system.
The engineering team which worked on the LaCrosse has made some subtle changes to its appearance. The model has a corporate face which is the first of its kind from the Buick. It uses a colored tri-shield emblem. Standard features found in the base model include powerful HID headlights and five link rear suspension setup. There are ten airbags mounted in the car to offer the best of safety for all passengers while GM supplied HiPer Strut front suspension is found exclusively in models that use front wheel drive system.
Buyers who go for the 2017 Buick LaCrossecan opt to upgrade their car to an all-wheel driving system and upgrade the headlights with full LED setup. Continuous damping control active suspension system with two different modes to choose from is another optional add-on to go for. The IntellilinkInfotaniment system can be upgraded with a larger 8-inch frameless touchscreen display.
It may make the car look extremely futuristic but you still have to drive it on your own as autonomous features are yet to be rolled out to Buick cars. The base price will obviously go higher when these options are preferred.
The sound system can be upgraded to the one made by Bose. Seats can be equipped with massaging options. The infotainment system does support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by default. Safety features include collision warning, automatic braking, lane keeping assist and pedestrian detection.
