2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Pricing Starts at $30,440

Honda has revealed official details of the 2017 Honda Accord hybrid.

The pricing for the model starts at $30,440 which includes destination delivery charges.

The model is the second generation Accord launch from the automobile manufacturer which is equipped with a 2.0-liter I-4 engine combined with an electric motor. The hybrid powertrain in the car is capable of delivering a total of 212 horsepower. Compared to the outgoing model, the new version renders 16 horsepower more. It is definitely not a huge bump in comparison but will give owners something to look forward to.

Speaking to the press, Honda confirmed that they expect the new hybrid version of the 2017 Accord to receive an economy rating of 49 miles per gallon in the city and 47 mpg in highway. The model always had a strong focus on people who are regular commuters and expect the best fuel efficiency. With such EPA rating, it has the potential to reach the masses. The exterior design is similar to the outgoing model, the 2016 Accord with a gasoline engine.

The front fascia is aggressive with wide grille and has a sporty finish. The new hybrid version of the car sports a three box sedan look which is conservative and definitely not unique in an age where innovative designs are taking the automobile industry forward. But, it is not going to receive any complaints from buyers. Honda has gone with a safe bet which will be appreciated by longtime fans and new buyers.

On the inside, connectivity features are plenty. The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid has its dashboard split into two, with two different screens each with a dedicated set of information. The larger of the two sports a 7.7-inch display which is the primary screen. It is used to control audio, video, navigation and also displays content captured by the rearview camera. The large screen has good coverage area and makes it easy for people trying to park them car in tight spots. The additional screen is equally large sporting a 7-inch display. It is used for Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and similar multimedia functionalities.

Trim line variants available include EX-L trim, Touring trim which is priced at $36,790.
