2017 Mazda6 Base Model Priced At $22,780, Specs And Trimlines Detailed

The 2017 Mazda6 is all set to hit stores next month and the company has revealed the pricing of various trimlines they are about to offer.

A slight increase in price can be witnessed but it is not an issue for buyers who are interested in the new features they get. The car is $450 more than the outgoing version. The base sport trim can be upgraded to a six speed automatic transmission system if you are willing to shell out more. It will set you back by $23,830.

The range of features provided with the sport trim is plenty. It uses electronic parking brake, backup camera, push button start and has 17-inch alloy wheels. The infotainment system is powered by the Mazda Connect technology that allows passengers to be stay updated with latest information, navigation and other additional details. The Sport variant uses a six speed manual transmission system.

Buyers who like to enjoy the elite feel of owning a 2017 Mazda6 can opt for the Touring trim. Priced at $25,030, the trimline offers leatherette seats, dual zone climate control, keyless entry, 19-inch alloy wheels, rear air vents combined with six-way power driving seat for ultimate comfort. Safety features available include blind spot warning, cross traffic alert, automatic rain sensor wipers, headlights and the all-new Smart City Brake support. While it is the usual automatic braking technology, the sensors are improved to detect vehicles ahead especially in tough traffic conditions. The cost of the Touring trim with an automatic transmission is $26,080.

Mazda also offers an exclusive Touring package priced at $1,325 which adds a moonroof, BOSE surround sound system and satellite radio. There’s also the Premium package which provides all these and more elegant features to justify the $1,425 price tag.

Next in the line is the Grand Touring trim priced at $31,530.The long list of features available in this particular trim line is exhausting. Immersing yourself in luxury is not difficult if you spend an additional $2,500 to get the Premium Package. It adds highly comfortable nappa leather seats, i-ELOOP regenerative braking with heated steering wheel among other nifty features. The new Machine Gray Metallic paint can be acquired for $300. Other options include snowflake white pearl mica and soul red metallic.
