However, we managed to make out some of the design aspects and gathered information on the powertrain to be used in the vehicle. The car was spotted testing in the rings in Nurburgring in Germany, the most favorite spot for majority of the automobile manufacturers. The E-class E63 wagon is expected to be powered by a V8 engine. The outgoing model is powered by a 5.5-liter unit which is capable of delivering 577 horsepower but the newer version will be 4.0-liter yet is expected to deliver an increased level of performance.

The twin turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine is already found in the C63 and the AMG GT S variants. While the powertrain is already being used, the version that is set to be used in the E63 will be extremely powerful. According to insiders who have had the chance to test the car, the new tweaked version of the engine will deliver over 600 horsepower making it an extremely reliable and powerful component to go for.

Most Mercedes vehicles made in association with AMG will use components made by the manufacturer. A similar trend will be followed this time around as the E63 2017 edition will use a seven speed MCT speedshift automatic transmission gearbox supplied by AMG. It will most likely be the only transmission option available as changing it drastically could lead to incompatibility issues with theengine.

While majority of the car is covered in camouflage, it is evident that they have equipped the model with huge carbon ceramic brakes. The front fascia is aggressive and had a sharp design but it was difficult to find the type of grille they have used. A new power dome is found in the rear end of the car which adds up to the hype the E63 has created. It is supposed to be a beast on the road but we can comment on its performance only when the model hits store and we get an opportunity to drive it around.

The 2017 Mercedes AMG E63 is expected to get launched before the end of 2016 but there is no actual release date announced yet. Buyers expect the E-class coupe and convertible to have their own AMG versions as well.
