2017 Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet’s Design Revealed in Concept Sketch

Convertibles are stylish and are adored by people irrespective of the climate they live in. Mercedes Benz is all set to bet on this most wanted trimline of them all by launching four different cabriolets at the Geneva motor show.

This year, the manufacturer has three different 2017 editions ready for launch. It includes the AMG S65, SL and the SLC. But, the list doesn’t end there because Mercedes has a brand new announcement to make. They are going to reveal the 2017 C-Class Cabriolet. The good thing is that it is going to feature a foldable soft top so that those who wish to drive it in Switzerland don’t have to brave the changing climatic conditions.

For a long time, the Cabriolet open top designs from Mercedes Benz have focused on being there rather than satisfying the needs of the buyers. It looks like the company is ready to take on a more customer friendly approach this time by retaining similar designs, features and making the cars versatile enough to suit different weather conditions. With an imminent global launch, the models have better chances of being embraced by many rather than those elite few who drives it only in summer.

The 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class Cabriolet is very much like the original C-Class. Minor changes are made in the interior design so as to support the soft top and maintain aerodynamics but they are hardly noticeable in the interiors. The brand has released a concept sketch to show how the car would look but it’s a vague description.

The big reveal is scheduled for the Geneva auto expo next month and with just days to go, we can wait to take a look at the finished model in person on the show floor. The car will be launched on March 1st, confirmed Mercedes Benz’s official spokesperson.

C300 is the variant experts believe to make its way to the show floor. It runs on a 2.0-liter four- cylinder engine that renders 241 horsepower. If you find it less powerful than expected, the automobile manufacturer has the C63 and the AMG C43 with increased horsepower.

Mercedes at the moment is also showcasing an eye catchy model named the Sprinter Extreme at the 2016 Chicago auto show. It looks very much like the jeep from Jurassic Park because of the headlights mounted on top and the bright green colored design. The vehicle is quite tall at 8 feet and weighs 6,400 pounds. An extreme model without questions!
