2017 Nissan Maxima Gets New Packages, Includes Apple CarPlay Support

The auto manufacturer has revealed the pricing and packages available for the 2017 Nissan Maxima. The next generation edition of the car will have full support for the Apple CarPlay connectivity feature.

While improving performance and components in the car, Nissan has managed to keep the pricing of the model nearly the same. The 2017 edition of the Maxima is priced at meager $50 higher than the outgoing model. It should ensure that existing customers and new buyers find the models easy to afford without having to go the extra mile to buy one. The base version of the model named the Maxima S is priced at $33, 395. The top of the line model available is the Maxima Platinum. It is priced at $40,825.

Buyers have the option to upgrade their platinum variant with additional springs. For those who do it, there are two more optional packages available. Medallion package is available exclusively for the Platinum variant which adds a new visual touch to the car. It also includes brand new spoiler combined with 18-inch wheels, new exterior puddle lamps and illuminated door sills. They make it easier for passengers to find entry when they are about to get into the car in dark conditions. Interior accent liking adds a sophisticated touch to the car. Buyers have to pay $1,345 in order to enjoy these add-on features.

For performance lovers, the 2017 Nissan Maxima SV trim level is the ideal choice. The car is offered with a vanity add-on pack along with a dynamic package. The pack costs $990 which illuminates the door sills, has a spoiler and stylish side skirts. The car’s performance and powertrain remains exactly the same.

On the inside, the 2017 Nissan Maxima is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine. The car is capable of producing a total of 300 horsepower which is delivered to the front wheels. The new Maxima uses a front wheel driving system by default and is powered by a continuously variable transmission system. The Maxima goes on sale this week and is a good choice for people who already own the model. Those who look forward to buy a new car with plenty of basic features can also go for the Nissan offering.

In other news, the company is working on productive electric models. They are all scheduled to get launched in the next few years and offer at least 200 miles range on a single charge.
