Nissan had recently announced its new model of SUV, the 2017 Rogue Hybrid.
The model should be out to the public by end of 2016. The Rogue Hybrid SL SUV comes with a choice of the power train, which is a lot more fuel-stingy. Interior Details

The cabin is almond-colored by default and is accented by dark colored attractive trim pieces. The interiors are abundantly covered in soft-touch materials, with heated front seats and heated steering wheel, which will be of great use for the upcoming winter season. There are memory seats which self-adjust every time the passenger steps inside the cabin. One major drawback which the driver might face while driving may be reaching out to the transmission mode and switches for power lift gate and for the heated steering mode that are located under the steering wheel on the left side.
The customer favorite features include the roomy backseat with more legroom and the panoramic sunroof. The new Rogue Hybrid comes with more visibility on the sides and at the back. There is a lot of cargo and passenger flexibility available with the newly innovated Divide-N-Hide Cargo system and the EZ Flex Seating System. If the passengers need to add more cargo, then the rear seats can be easily folded flat with just a pull of the handle that is present on the top of the rear seat. The Hybrid SUV comes with 3-row 7-seater capacity. The hybrid’s battery that is placed under the cargo area, offers 61.4 cu.ft behind the first row and 27.3 cubes behind the 2nd row.
Under the Hood
The heart of the 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SUV powerhouse comes with an inline 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters that is coupled along with a single-motor, two-clutch control, and a compact lithium-ion battery. The gasoline engine produces a power of 141 hp and a torque of 144 lb.ft, while the 30 kW electric motor generates 40 hp of power and a torque of 118 lb.ft. The net power of the hybrid’s engine system is 176 hp. There is a Xtronic transmission with manual gearshifts and switches for the Standard Sport and for Eco mode, which send power to all the four wheels.
The fuel economy for the hybrid is projected to be 31 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway and a combined 33 mpg (FWD), while the standard Rogue is estimated to have a mileage of 26 mpg for the city and 33 mpg on the highway and a combined 29 mpg.
Other Features and Options
The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid comes with two driving configurations namely the front-wheel and the all-wheel drive forms. The standard features include the leather-wrapped seats, 6-way powered driver’s seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, top navigation technology with a 7-inch touch-enabled color display screen. Nissan’s native safety features that include the rear cross traffic alert systems and the blind-spot warning come as standard. The other standard features include the Bose premium 9-speaker audio system, heated outside mirrors, push-button start, rear lift gate that can motion activated, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, and a remote engine braking system. There is also an optional available forward emergency braking system and a power panoramic sunroof.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SUV, which is a reliable family commuter with plenty of cargo and passenger space with seating flexibility, comes at around $ 35,000 for the fully loaded version, which is way up against the $ 34,970 of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and the $32,250 of the gas-powered SL AWD.
