Such models are always exclusive and this one is no different. The automobile manufacturer confirmed that it is limited to just 500 units and those who plan to buy one has to order it in time. Fans expected the variant to be equipped with a turbocharger. Much to the disappointment of many, the engineers choose not to include one in it.
The 2017 Subaru BRZ Hyper Yellow car is based on the limited trim level. All the features found in the particular trimline will be available in this model including full LED headlights, 4.2-inch LCD display, LED taillights and a rearview camera for easy parking. Newbie drivers who still find it difficult to park their car in cramped spaces will find this to be a welcome addition. The car is also equipped with the Starlink multimedia interface system. It comprises of a large 6.2-inch touchscreen display, has keyless entry, start stop functionality and also supports dual zone climate control. LED fog lights make it easier to drive in varying climatic conditions.
While the new Yellow variant is built on the limited trim level, Subaru allows buyers to upgrade the 2017 BRZ special edition with a performance package. When upgraded, the vehicle receives shock absorbers, new Brembo brakes and 17-inch alloy wheels with black finish. The yellow variant is maintained throughout the model. It is used in the dash panels, the seat lines, steering wheel, door panels and other areas. A special BRZ logo is embroidered on the seats to indicate that the car is limited in numbers and is exclusive.
The model is powered by a 2.0-liter flat four engine which is capable of providing a total of 205 horsepower coupled with 156 lb feet of torque. It is mated to a six speed manual gearbox system. The car also has a stability control system similar to its original version. Instead of using a sport mode, it is now changed to track mode. In terms of performance the new 2017 Subaru BRZ Hyper Yellow is very similar to its earlier version except for the cosmetic changes.
