Volkswagen Polo 2107 edition is about to be the next big entry for the manufacturer.
The brand aims to rival their competitors with brand new chassis, design, luxurious features and infotainment system with best connectivity in recent years.
A bunch of spy photographs are now available that gave us a good perspective on how the 2017 Volkswagen Polo would look. It is known a long time ago but let’s reiterate the fact that the Polo is being built on the brand new MQB platform. The platform has been designed from the ground up to deliver a high level of versatility for all future VW vehicles. The version is equipped with large twin tail pipes and GTI styled wheels from the Golf. It suggests that the prototype spotted in the wild could probably be a sporty version from the GTI family.
The brand has made a lot of changes to the car but they are going with the popular and the most preferred five door hatchback design. It makes it easier for existing customers to upgrade to the new one. Volkswagen however is waiting for Ford to roll out their next gen Fiesta in UK before they bring the 2017 Polo to dealership stores. With the new platform, the car now has much bigger storage area and offers great headroom for all the passengers on board. The quality of materials used to construct the interiors are much better and contribute to a comfortable ride.
While the upgrades are plenty to take note of, the 2017 Volkswagen Polo is still a budget friendly small car for those who prefer the best performance, fuel efficiency and connectivity features. They are keen on keeping the cost low yet offer a sophisticated experience for Polo owners. Balancing the two is no easy task and we can know how well VW done the job once the car is out.
The base model is powered by a 1.0-liter aspirated engine delivering up to 75 horsepower while other models deliver up to 115 horsepower. Both petrol and diesel engine variants are provided by Volkswagen so as to cater to every type of buyer out there. A colored infotainment screen will be used in the new Polo 2017 edition with a large 9.5-inch touchscreen for easy navigation. It is also expected to support both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to let you connect your smartphone devices. A SUV version of the Polo is heading to the stores after the initial launch.
