The Nardo Grey color variant of the 2018 Audi TT-RS is under development and a picture of the car was posted online by a Reddit user.
The popular car houses some of the best components in the world and is an anticipated launch in the automobile industry. From earlier updates, it is known that the car delivers about 400 horsepower and is powered by a 2.5 TFSI inline 5-cylinder turbocharged engine. While these details were available in abundance, there was no word on the actual launch date. Even now, we can’t confirm the actual date but a launch window is known. The 2018 Audi TT-RS Nardo Grey is expected to be available in the month of March or by April, reports Audi World.
The source being an anonymous tipster it’s difficult to take it as an announcement from the company. However, the pictures posted on the Reddit forum by a user named KX321 seems to be legit and add strength to the recently floated rumor. Everything that you love about the Audi is found in this model right from the angular shapes to the aggressive front end and the overall look, much of which is borrowed from the RS7.
Mounted on 20-inch wheels supplied by Pirelli, this P-Zero ultra-low profile tires are beautifully camouflaged in the vehicle’s bodywork. They are controlled with carbon ceramic discs combined with 8-piston Brembo monobloc calipers and fixed spoiler. The rear end is equally impressive with carbon fiber diffuser and oval exhaust finishers that looks very much like the ones used on the RS5 model.
An important aspect that adds credibility to the picture of the 2018 Audi TT-RS Nardo Grey variant is that the car is spotted on a show floor. It’s not randomly shot on the road or camouflaged but is in full view. When the manufacturer showcases it fully, they are obviously getting ready to launch it in different regions and the United States could be one of them. The TT-RS showcase is probably from a dealer conference to finalize the deals before they hit stores and it does ad credibility to the March-April release.
The Reddit user has posted a bunch of pictures and all of them are of high quality giving us a detailed look on how the new TT-RS Audi car could look like. The components are of high end that adds much hype to the already popular car. We have no word on its pricing yet but we expect some updates close to launch date.
