The large crossover named the Tiguan Allspace sticks true to the name by offering a whole lot of space to work with. The original European model was available for test drive back in February last year and after a whole year has passed, Volkswagen is ready to launch the car in 2017. The original model was revealed during the 2015 Frankfurt auto show. It got delayed really long than expected but from the new announcement, it is confirmed that the engineers were actually working on a larger version of the crossover for the American audience. The U.S. buyers are known for showing keen interest in large SUVs, crossovers and trucks. The new Tiguan aims to satisfy a whole range of audience by being the best of both worlds.

The 2018 Volkswagen TiguanAllspace features a long wheelbase measured at 109.9-inches on a body that is relatively large at about 185.2 inches. Compared to the European version, the U.S. version of the Tiguan is nearly 11 inches longer, wider and with it, the car adds a third row seat making it the most impressive crossover for America. Making a debut at the beginning of a year makes it all the more appealing as buyers who were holding off from buying a new crossover will probably lean towards this mean machine.

With a standard front-wheel drive and a moderately powerful 2.0-liter TSI engine capable of producing up to 184 horsepower and 221 pound feet of torque, the 2018 Allspace is a complete package. For buyers who are not satisfied with the standard version, there is the option to go with an all-wheel drive 4Motion setup.
