2024 BMW iX1 eDrive20 to Feature 475 Kilometers Maximum Range

BMW is working on including its upcoming 2024 BMW iX1 eDrive20 in its electric vehicle portfolio.

The vehicle will arrive as a compact Sports Activity Vehicle in the premium compact segment. This will be the second sports activity vehicle from the manufacturer.

2024 BMW iX1 eDrive20 Interiors

The upcoming SAV will house a curved display as the primary control and display system. This will essentially be a combination of a 10.7-inch control display and a 10.25-inch information display. The curve will be inclined towards the driver. The car will encompass a revamped start screen with QuickSelect in its control display. This will help to access various functions directly without navigating through submenus.

The SAV will depict a wide range of standard equipment. The car will encompass several modern driver assistance systems, two-zone automatic air conditioning, Parking Assistant with reversing assist camera, and BMW Maps navigation system apart from several other digital services. It will also incorporate the manufacturer’s latest BMW Operating System 9.

BMW iX1 eDrive20 Powertrain Specifications

Under the hood, the 2024 BMW iX1 eDrive20 will house an integrated drive unit on its front axle. The car will comprise an electric motor with a maximum of 247 Nm torque and a maximum 204 HP output because of a temporary Boost feature. It will also incorporate a 64.7kWh high-voltage battery.

The SAV will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers in an hour in just 8.6 seconds. The car will portray a maximum top speed of 170 kilometers in an hour. Its battery can be charged in two ways. The AC charging with a maximum of 11kW as standard will get recharged from 0 to 100 percent in only 6.5 hours. This charging time can be reduced to 3 hours and 45 minutes with the optional three-phase AC charging at 22kW.
