German automaker Porsche is working on giving its upcoming 2024 Porsche Panamera its final finishing touches.
The third-generation model will see a heavy revision over the previous models. The primary focus changes will be with respect to the powertrains, a new chassis with active damper controls and a new PDK transmission.
2024 Porsche Panamera Exteriors and Interiors
The new Porsche Panamera will come in three trim options of Panamera, Panamera Executive and Panamera Sport Turismo. All three trim variants will portray a light background and a dark solid shape. The car will have a five-door setup and a large wheelbase that will in turn result in bigger door apertures at the rear for ease of entry. The other external changes will be visible on the lights, wheels and front grille. The headlights will depict a squarer profile than before.
The interiors of the car are anticipated be majorly similar to that of the manufacturer’s Taycan and a little like that of the recently updated Cayenne. It is expected to focus on enhanced digital functionality and ease of use, which means that the sedan could come with a fully digital dash. The steering wheel will have a bold design while the gearshift will appear to be more stylish. There will additionally be a 12-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
Porsche Panamera Powertrain Specifications
The 2024 Porsche Panamera will have four E-Hybrid powertrain options as part of its updated engine range. This makes the car support one more powertrain when compared to the outgoing model. However, they are slated to match the engines of the revised Cayenne that made its debut recently.

Under the hood, all E-Hybrid models will have a new electric motor that is fitted on to the transmission housing of the associated new dual-clutch 140kW motor. This motor will be lighter than before and has better energy recuperation. It will be powered by a bigger 25.9kWh battery that offers assurance of faster charging and an increased all-electric driving range.
The Porsche Panamera will have a semi-active chassis featuring two-valve shock absorbers as standard. This can be replaced by a high-end chassis incorporating active damper control.
When will the Porsche Panamera be released?
The Porsche Panamera will make its official debut in the UAE in late November this year at the Icons of Porsche Festival. Attendees will be able to see the car in person the following days. Following its debut, the sedan will reach dealerships in 2024.
