The world of supercars is going to get a solid launch this year at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Named the Arash AF10, the hypercar promises to deliver a brilliant 2,080 horsepower on road to set a new benchmark in the automobile world.
Arash Motor Company is launching the new hyper car at the show which is powered by a V8 engine and has supporting electric motors to make things speedy than they already are. The main power is rendered by the 900hp engine and there’s a much more powerful electric motor which delivers 1,180 horsepower.
With such enormous power under the hood, the car can easily warp from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds. It’s more like a sports record than something people would prefer to use on the road. Besides, considering the specifications, it is going to be one of the elite cars that very few could own. The vehicle uses a four-wheel driving system and has a total speed measured at 200 miles per hour.
The AF10 is the same version of the original car which is already available in the market and delivers a total of 550 horsepower. However, the engineers have spent enough time to tune the vehicle to increase its basic hp and add an electric motor to make the perfect hybrid vehicle. The car is extremely light, according to those who designed it.
The total weight of the Arash AF10 has been reduced to the last possible levels and the powertrain weighs just 280 kilograms made possible by the Warp Drive technology. It uses a 6.8-liter V8 engine and pulling off the feat is no easy task. Arash has set a new benchmark for lightness by making the hyper car so light and it is sure to inspire many other makers in the near future.
It also uses four different electric motors and a five-way gearbox system. The car is race track readywith the company adding up all the necessary components to hit the track if you feel so. After spending so much on this luxury vehicle, it is no wonder the owner may want to test its top speed and stability. The Arash AF10 comes equipped with roll cage, fire extinguisher, intercom and other components to ensure a safe run on the tracks.
Official pricing and more information related to the car will be made available once the Geneva reveal is complete.
