Audi A3 Cabrio is a Convertible with an Unbelievably Low Price Tag

Audi cars are often expensive and are targeted at the elite owners who can afford one. And, if you are planning to buy a convertible from this luxury brand, it is obvious that they may cost an arm and a leg right? Wrong!

While it is known that Audi is a luxury brand which is known for its amazing sedans and SUVs, the manufacturer has a strong focus on the untapped market at the moment. Companies like Audi, BMW and Mercedes have spent decades wooing premium customers in Europe, the US, the UK among other parts of the world. But, after nearly saturating the market, they have realized that it is time to make some more money from people who love their brand, but just can’t afford them in their lifetime.

Audi A3 Cabrio

The newly launched A3 Cabrio is a perfect example of a budget convertible car. There is no term called a budget convertible, but Audi has made it possible, because the vehicle costs an unbelievable $36,525, including delivery charges. A Chevrolet convertible might set you back with the same price tag, but it can hardly convince the onlookers that you are almost rich which the Audi can do with the first look.

The A3 Cabrio features leather covers on the seats, has dual zone climate control and renders an impressive 170 horsepower. The vehicle is powered by a four cylinder turbocharged engine, which offers an RPM ranging between 1,600 and 4,400. The car delivers 200 foot pounds of torque which is something no other convertible in the same price range could offer. The Cabrio directly competes with the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Mini Cooper and the popular Volkswagen Beetle.

While these convertibles from various other manufacturers are good in terms of performance and fuel economy, the brand value that Audi has and the increased performance it delivers helps it stand out from the crowd. Besides an increased RPM and Torque, the Audi A3 Cabrio delivers good mileage. It delivers 24 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on a highway which makes it a reliable choice for the daily commuter.

2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet

An added advantage that Cabrio owners get is the professional, business like design of the Audi convertible which is conveniently placed in between the muscular look of the Mustang and the miniscule Beetle. The 2015 A3 Cabrio is yet to receive its safety rating, but its counterpart, the A3 sedan received a five star rating and a vehicle in the series could be no less.
