Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24H Launched, Official Pictures Released

A year ago, Audi launched the next gen R8 and the R8 LMS GT3.

The event was held in Germany as the company always does. In order to commemorate this occasion, they launched a special edition model named the Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24H.

Everything about the new car is inspired by previous models from Audi including the GT3 model. A couple of different colors and components from various cars have been mingled together so as to achieve the end result. The special edition comprises of Mythos Black with Suzuka grey and the edges are properly accentuated by Misano Red. They are similar to racing livery used by Audi models.

Almost every other manufacturer is obsessed with carbon fiber finish because they are extremely versatile and allows designers to come up with unique shapes. The new 24H features carbon fiber finish on the engine compartment cover, exterior mirror, front splitter as well as the rear wing and the diffuser. Another important feature is when you approach the vehicle and unlock the door, the Audi R8 logo will be illuminated on the ground using LED lights. All these eye catchy changes are for the elite crowd because there is no change in terms of performance.

Sports car lovers who may opt for the Audi R8 V10 plus selection 24H might be disappointed to know that there is no change in acceleration or top speed. It is still powered by the same V10 engine. Pricing is yet to be announced.
