Audi Brings to Light its New TT-S Line Competition Which Comes With a Sport Package

In case you felt that the sports coupe is not very sporty, Audi TT has a solution for it.

Audi is all set to unveil its S-Line Competition and the German automaker will treat you to the amazing automobile in either the Quattro or FWD flavor. The whole package will be out for the European customers by the end of 2016. The Audi TT-S Line Competition will debut at the Paris Motor Show 2016 in the next week.

The third generation of Audi TT has already knocked off a couple of years under the odometer and so the carmaker has planned to lure its audience with a brand new and offbeat car model. The S-Line carries the compact sports package which is generally applied by Audi to its mainstream models. However, you will not be able to order the S-line variant for the TT-S and TT-RS models, as they come in their own dapper forms. With the Audi TT S-Line variant, the automaker is focusing on the low-level diesel and petrol models. The Audi TT S-Line Competition will be available for the European customers in both the Roadster and the Coupe forms.

The Exterior Details

The designers and engineers have spiced up both the body lines of the Audi TT pack for the S Line Competition series. According to Audi, there are heaps of visual upgrades which include a glossy finish in black for the front blade, for the collective single framework, for the caps of side mirror housings, and on the diffuser insert at the back. A rear wing that is fixed is available along with the tailpipe trims which have a high-gloss black chrome finish. However, the most obvious change is its outstanding rear wing that is designed to scintillate the sports appeal.

The Interior Details

The car will be getting new upholstery all in leather, a standard virtual cockpit, a flat-bottomed steering wheel which is contoured for the S-Line and wrapped in leather, and a sports screen which has a central tachometer that displays speed and controls its chunk of instruments. The new sports seats have its backrests all embossed together. The Sports seats and the door panels come with a contrast stitching of Alcantara and leather.

Under the Hood Details

On the mechanical side, the Audi TT S-Line Competition will be power-driven by a TFSI turbo engine which has a capacity of 2.0 liters and churns out a power of 233PS. It is available in the FWD (front wheel drive) version with a manual transmission for six-speed levels or an S tronic. It is also available in the Quattro version with S tronic gearbox for the front wheels.

There is also a firm spring like settings for the sports suspension structure, which explicates the 0.4 inches (10 mm) of lower ride height when compared to the other standard models. The TT S-Line models will have a standard Audi Drive Select feature which will enhance the driving dynamics whenever it is desired.

Audi TT S Line Competition With a Sport Package

The S-Line is fitted with 19-inch wheels which come in a glossy black 5-spoke blade design.  The brake calipers are given a red finish. There will be an array of colors for the customers to choose for the body which will include the tango red, nano gray, glacier white, and the new Ara Blue for the TT S-Line. The TT S-Line Roadster variant will have its hood completely in black.

The price for the limited edition of Audi TT S-Line competition ranges from EUR 41,940 for the Coupe version to EUR 44,340 and upwards for the roadster version.
