The destination delivery charges are not included in this but it should still be at least $3,000 or so lesser than the XLT variant available for purchase now. In order to bring down the price of the vehicle, the automobile brand obviously has to cut some corners. Unless they do so, they won’t be able to deliver but from a buyer’s standpoint as long as you get the features you are looking for, it will definitely be a wise purchase to go.

While Expedition models are often known for their spacious design and to be more precise, the third row of seats is no longer present in this particular variant. The driver assistant bundle titled the Ford Co-Pilot 360 which is lauded by many buyers will also be removed from this variant and it is up to the buyer to go for a higher variant to get these features. Some of the other annoying removals include the absence of the rear parking sensors and satellite radio which will bring about a significant downgrade in the driving experience.

The extended Max form will not be available for the new Expedition XL STX but they have managed to cram in some additions to justify the price tag. The car is equipped with 18-inch metallic alloy wheels combined with a gloss back five-bar grille and uses gloss finish on the black mirror caps. It also sports a fancy colored fascia combined with coloring in the lower body to match the original color of the model.

Pricing and Delivery Charges

For any buyer planning to buy the 2021 Ford Expedition XL STX edition, you should be willing to pay $1,695 for destination delivery charges. The total cost of the car goes up to $51,690 but at this price point, there are some other options available as well including the Chevrolet Tahoe. Under the bonnet, the new Ford model is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine capable of pushing about 375 horsepower connected to a ten-speed automatic gearbox. The all-wheel-drive edition is ideal for some rugged driving but it will increase the cost of the vehicle by $3,050.

In addition to the performance increase, it is easy to claim that the newer model would be more fuel-efficient made possible by shaving off its total weight. It is expected to be 70 kilograms or 154 pounds lesser than the base model. Such a decrease in weight will always lead to better aerodynamics, better control and an impressive driving experience but we can comment on these factors only after we get to drive the vehicle.

The improvements further include a carbon-ceramic brake package, forged aluminum wheels and the red brake calipers further add to the performance edition badge. The yellow headlights are yet another claim to its motorsport inspiration while under the hood the car is expected to feature the latest version of the V8 engine.

2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport Review: Impressive Performance with Comfort

Before we step into the detailed review of the 2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport, it is easy to say that this is one of the most balanced and refined cars released this year.

The aggressive performance boost is in no way designed to affect the comfort or handling aspect of the hatchback, making it an exciting all-rounder performance.

What Helps it Stand Apart?

The Clubsport is not your average Golf GTI because it has been tuned to deliver an uplifting performance compared to the original edition of the car. The model is more expensive but it justifies the pricing with excellent dynamics, a better powertrain, and an overall enthralling driving experience.

One of the stark new differences that anyone would spot is the front bumper which has been revised to look more aggressive. The air duct has a wider spacing now while the rear side is equipped with oval-shaped tailpipes. The diffuser and the spoiler had also been re-worked paving the way for a solid new car that buyers would love to invest in. When paired with larger 19-inch rims for the wheel makes it pretty much a no-brainer for compact car lovers.

Powertrain and Performance Improvements

The 2020 Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport edition is equipped with the EA888 engine designed by Volkswagen. The powertrain albeit being the same as the one found on the Golf R edition, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine has been tweaked to deliver its best. The engine found in this particular edition is capable of delivering an improved 296bhp combined with 295lb-feet of torque. It is at least 50bhp more than the standard edition justifying the increased price tag and the promise to deliver more power. It is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The car can easily go from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.6 seconds making it one of the fastest models available in its range. The premium edition of the vehicle is priced at 37,215 GBP which is something truly justified by a list of upgrades. The same powertrain as the original Golf has been used in the Clubsport edition but it has been tweaked in such a way that it delivers instantaneously.

The car will be up for sale in March next year after which the new M4 Convertible is in the waitlist. Both models obviously share a lot of content and design elements. The front fascia remains the same along with the reduced ride height. For most people who wanted the M4, they will not miss much even if they choose to go with the convertible over the coupe edition.

Powerful Performance with Similar Design

The car’s performance is delivered by the powertrain which happens to be a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine. Based on all the specifications we have come to know from the BMW M4 Coupe, it is easy to deduce the performance of this vehicle. It is capable of delivering 473 horsepower combined with 406 pound feet of torque. The car’s competition grade is far more powerful as we already know which can go all the way up to 503 horsepower combined with 479 lb feet of torque.

For buyers who are really keen on impressive performance, they can opt for the competition grade edition. The car is also being sold with an all-wheel drive variant which will further improve its overall performance when compared with the rear wheel drive model from 2018. With the help of an axle and differential, the power generated can be split between the front and rear wheels. The differential will further split it between the rear wheels for a balanced driving experience.

Electric cars are slowly converging into the automobile industry on a massive scale and major brands are embracing the technology like no other time in the past. The newly launched photographs give us a quick and detailed look of what to expect from these EVs when they get officially launched in stores.

According to Audi’s official statement, the new range of electric vehicles will be equipped with three different electric motors. When combined together, they are capable of delivering raw performance and much higher horsepower which should be almost on par with what a conventional gasoline motor could offer. The three motors will be split, one connected to the front while the dual motors will power the rear axle. They help split power and maintain better battery life which in turn improves the mile range coverage of the EVs.

Performance Ratings and Top Speed

In their official reveal, the 2021 Audi e-Tron seems to be a worthy contender in the world of Tesla cars and other electric vehicles. The manufacturer has confirmed that it can easily deliver about 496 horsepower combined with 717lb feet of torque. The car can easily go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds. The fastest sprint phase stands proof to the fact that EVs have come a long way from the past and are slowly edging towards conventional engines in terms of raw performance.

With the release date close by, the company has been testing the vehicle on road. Surprisingly, it is spotted on road without camouflage and everyone got to get a direct glimpse of what to expect from the model.

Instead of going for a big launch event, Volkswagen has confirmed that they are going to go for an online event. The vehicle, its specifications and everything else you would want to know will be digitally presented. While it may take time for the model to be globally available due to the COVID 19 situation going around the world, it is getting launched according to the latest sources.

The series of spy photos are released on Car Advice website that gives a much clear and in-depth look into the new car’s design. The designers have gone for a headlight design which we are quite familiar with. It was already spotted on the Golf 8th generation variant and with an idea to maintain the same tone in all their vehicles, Volkswagen has opted for the same on their larger SUV variant.

New Design, Inspired by Other Models

The grille design has been ripped off the T-Cross SUV and it’s not a bad thing. When you are paying less but can get some of the design elements from expensive SUV models, buyers will be more than happy to pay for it. After all, it provides better value for money and is an excellent way to have a premium-looking SUV for you to own.

The Volkswagen Tiguan features headlights that are already revealed in the Golf 8th generation edition. While the Volkswagen Golf happens to be an extremely small car compared to what the Tiguan would offer, it still fits into the overall design architecture. The leaked spy photos of the car much to the delight of people planning to buy it includes photographs of the interiors.

The car is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine with 110kW of power which is something derived from the fact it uses Golf 8’s engine. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission engine.

The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will get launched any time in the next few weeks but a global rollout may take time considering the pandemic situation in the world.

2018 BMW X3 Gets Official Spy Photos from Sweden

Spy photos are usually captured by photographers and unofficially released.

However, the 2018 BMW X3 has received official spy shots that show the car being tested in Sweden.

The compact SUV is aesthetically designed but it won’t be showcased at the 2017 Geneva motor show. Instead, BMW seems to have planned to launch it later in another expo that takes place later this year. The company didn’t confirm which expo it will be and they may even make it official during a random month to capture the attention of their audience. The new X3 is being tested in the snow clad regions stress testing the powertrains to make sure they deliver the best performance even under such harsh conditions.

Surprisingly, the spy photos are of high definition and should give you a clear overview of how the SUV would like to. The major share of the car is camouflaged that keeps the overall design a mystery. However, it is possible to confirm that the front end with trapezoidal headlights and kidney grille pretty much derives strong inspiration from the F30 3 Series.

The sides of the car derive its design elements from the F25 model with the popular L-shaped taillights that are retained. This particular model spotted in the photos is equipped with the M Sport package that includes an aggressive rear bumper, deep side sills and large front air intakes. It also includes special M package disc brakes with blue calipers and twin exhaust exits.

Under the hood, the 2018 BMW X3 is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight six engine which is capable of producing about 360 horsepower combined with 465 Nm of Torque. The powertrain is mated to an eight speed ZF automatic transmission gearbox. The numbers are derived from the X4 M40i where the same engine is already being used in real world conditions. It is also speculated that the X3 will be made available with choice of powertrains including a 2.0-liter turbo four engine that produces about 252 horsepower.

The next generation model is mounted on top of BMW’s latest CLAR platform which is already used to build the G30 5 Series and the G11 7 Series. The new platform is expected to shave off significant weight from the compact SUV contributing to its increased fuel efficiency, aerodynamics and overall performance. Aside from the conventional petrol and diesel engine variants, the 2018 BMW X3 may get launched with an electric motor that solely runs using battery power.
