Bentley has some surprising announcements to make to beat their rival Land Rover from Jaguar.

The brand has decided to reduce the cost of their SUV model by at least $7000 so as to make some better sales.

Bentley Bentayga is coming in the month of April and when it does, it will be priced much lower than its closest competitor the Range Rover SV Autobiography. The car will be powered by a V8 triple turbo diesel engine variant which has been specifically designed to compete in the Australian Grand Prix in 2017. Commenting on the new launch, David Simpson, Asia Pacific manager commented that the powerful new variant is geared towards offering the best towing capacity for the car.

“We are looking forward to reach out to a new set of customers and the new Bentley Bentayga should help us accomplish our goals. The powerful variant is also expected to be more of a collector’s edition for people who like to have the best of everything under their belt. Someone who has a Ferrari for speed and performance can go for the Bentayga for its pulling power,” said Simpson.

Expressing his delight on creating the best off-road vehicle, Simpson said that they are really proud for having created one of the best off-roaders that buyers could go for. “Be it for those who live in the city with an occasional trip to the outskirts or those who spend majority of their time driving the Bentley Bentayga in rough road conditions, our car should suit them all in terms of performance, towing capacity and comfort,” he said.

A couple of features introduced in the new facelifted model include parking assist, city safe, adaptive cruise control, automatic start stop functionality and a lot of other additions to make it a perfect fit for commuters in the city. Simpson clarified that the diesel engine of the Bentayga is the most favored and will start with a price tag of $399,000.

The upcoming model is geared towards buyers in Australia and a similar variant is expected to be out in US, UK among other prominent regions. It may be sometime before the concept model goes into production and we expect it will undergo some changes to offer best performance while balancing its overall experience. Being on the expensive side, the car should meet a lot of expectations and it just might do.
