Bentley is working on a brand new car which will feature two seats and a powerful engine named the EXP 10 Speed 6.

The latest update is that after years of speculations, the company is finally close to approving the idea so that it could go into design and then production. The information was revealed by a person who has a strong word on what Bentley would do. Kevin Rose is the sales and marketing member who leaked the information to the media, which is partially official we should say.

Speaking about the impending launch, Rose said, “We are looking forward to ship at least 20,000 cars before the year 2025. It is possible only if all the new models that is in our pipeline gets approved and reaches the buyers in time”. The member of the board also clarified that he is talking about three different models, including the flying spur, the Continental GT and Mulsanne.

He added that Bentley is working on ways to fund their own cars and make it easier to produce newer models. Being able to create them on their income makes it much easier to promote new ideas, added Kevin Rose.

While he refrained from confirming the existence of the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 directly, he focused on explaining to the media, the various obstacles the company has to face in order to get such a model into dealership stores.

“The Jaguar F-Type SVR is much cheaper and more affordable. The same goes for Maserati Alfieri as well. The business perspective is what drives us forward. To create the Speed 6, a wide range of stuff should be taken into consideration including the technical feasibility, the cost of the vehicle, engineering capacity and financial feasibility. When everything falls into place, the board will obviously sign the idea allowing designers to start working”, said Rose.

If confirmed, the EXP 10 will be built on the same MSB platform that is already being used by Porsche. Bentley has to pay the company in order to use the platform, but he confirmed that it is a worthy investment that will allow them to make an amazing car. It’s also going to be a sedan with the feel of a sports car which is what most buyers love. Creating the best of both worlds will allow Bentley to reach the masses like never before.
