Expectations are high and the Paris Motor Show 2016 is one of the key events in the automobile industry. Like every show, we can expect a wide range of cars to be out in the event from all the top manufacturers.
While some of the models are confirmed, many others are still considered as rumors and may find a spot on stage as surprise announcements. In Paris, the event is known as the Mondial de l’Automobile is held every two years. It gives enough space for automobile brands to come up with some innovative ideas and impressive features their R&D engineers developed. While it is a global auto expo, French brands including Renault, Peugeot and Citroen have a strong presence on the show floor.
The list of cars will be kicked off by the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, one of the most anticipated launches at the Paris Motor Show 2016. It is the first stint for Alfa Romeo in the SUV market and from the available information, we can confidently say that they are on the right track. Audi is coming up with its Q5, another premium SUV model and Citroen C3 is a supermini car with all the features you could ask for and more.
Honda is ready to revamp its Civic with its next generation launch. Land Rover Discovery, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 3008, Porsche Panamera and Skoda Kodiaq are some of the cars heading to the 2016 Paris Motor Show. BMW is expected to a strong presence this year as they have lined up multiple cars to be showcased at the show floor. This year’s show will be graced by the third generation X3, the 5 series plus models and a possible launch of the BMW i8 Spyder.
Lexus LC 500 Coupe which was displayed at the Goodwood festival of speed in UK is coming to the Paris auto expo. The car is scheduled for launch in 2017. While it is not officially confirmed, Lexus may launch their LX car. Maserati on the other hand is rumored to come up with an Alfieri which is going to compete against some of the big sports car in the auto industry. If announced, the Maserati Alfieri will be the competitor for Porsche 911 and Jaguar F Type.
Mercedes will expand their lineup with a AMG GT and a crossover named GLB. Most of these cars are confirmed and being global show, it is going to be an important event for every auto brand.
