The term executive express is about to be redefined in the Australian automobile market, where the new BMW M Performance 7 series is about to get launched in 2017.
When it does, the car will easily be one of the expensive models that buyers could go for in Australia. The M Performance M760Li xDrive is everything a power user would look for and is packed to the brim with performance driven components. The car when it hits dealership stores will be priced at an expensive price tag of $419,000 which doesn’t include on-road costs. With such pricing, the model is already on par with the cost of the Mercedes Maybach S600 limousine and BMW can justify its claim only if it manages to deliver in every regard.
Under the hood, the car is powered by the flagship V12 powertrain and is mated to an all-wheel driving system for great performance on the road. It can easily accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 3.7 seconds and boasts of ultra-luxury components on the inside. The 6.6-liter twin turbocharged V12 engine will render about 448 kW power with 800 Nm torque. The engineering team has designed an exclusive transmission for the M Performance series. It includes a M Sport exhaust which is fully customizable according to the driver’s needs.
On launch date, the BMW M Performance 7 series model will offer all-wheel drive and axDrive electronic package. The M760Li is capable of reading records of usage and automatically adapt its performance, transmission according to individual styles. It uses a sports tuned air suspension which offers great comfort even with day to day commuting usage. The car is equipped with large 20-inch M alloy wheels and a great set of features.
The upcoming BMW M Performance M760Li is equipped with BMW night vision, automatic pedestrian recognition, rear entertainment experience, highly ventilated seats with massage functionality, Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround system with 16 speakers, BMW laserlight, ceramic control surrounds, four zone climate control and support for wireless phone charging. Buyers will have complete control over the design when they pay such a premium price for the car. They can choose to customize the interior trims, exterior finish, upholstery and literally every aspect of the car before finalizing their purchase.
Adding to the already luxurious add-ons are the Merino leather used on the seats, door trim, panels, armrest combined with anthracite headliner and black fine wood finish in specific spots.
