BMW Officially Launches 2017 M760Li XDrive with V12 Engine

BMW has officially launched the 2017 M760Li XDrive right before the Geneva motor show even though it was originally expected to be out at the auto expo.

However, the company has decided to skip it and go with a launch just weeks before the auto show. The 2017 BMW M760Li is powered by a 6.6-liter V12 engine which is the most important factor as it is an amazingly powerful engine available in the world right now. The Twinpower turbo engine is quite heavy and is properly secured with the help of double bolts. It is expected to provide increased stability to vehicle and also to reduce vibration.

The fuel injectors are conveniently mounted in the center and they directly fire into the combustion chamber with 200 bars of pressure. It is a smooth ride as promised by the designers at BMW. Given the type of technology they have used in the car, it does look promising and this is one of the high end models to get launched this year.

For better efficiency and performance, the V12 engine uses completely redesigned intercooler and has an add-on water pump. The vehicle is capable of rendering 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The car can easily accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds. The top speed of the car is 155 miles per hour. Even though, this is supposed to be a luxury car which focuses more on performance and power, BMW made some minor changes to make the 2017 M760Li Xdrive fuel efficient as well.

They have added a start stop function which makes the car efficient and allows it to offer 22.4 miles per gallon. The car features an all-wheel drive system by default and it uses an eight speed steptronic sports transmission system. All these features are available on the car by default. The vehicle is equipped with a wide range of driving modes that a user can pick from. It includes a manual mode for those who prefer to control it by themselves. The car is also equipped with BMW ConnectDrive infotainment system and supports all latest mobile software syncing requirements.

The company has confirmed that the 2017 BMW M760Li Xdrive will go on sale before the end of 2016 and has kept its pricing under wraps. They are going to announce pricing of the different variants available at the Geneva auto show.
