BMW Releases Teaser Image of New Vision Car Concept

The German car manufacturer BMW is working on a new innovation named the Vision Car Concept. Based on it, they will be giving enough attention to the interiors of the vehicle so that they are on par with the exterior changes.

Prior to the CES 2016 reveal, the company has released a teaser image of the interiors of their upcoming vehicles. It showcases a clean design combined with an infotainment system and aesthetics similar to the ones found in the earlier models. The brand confirmed their presence at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016. It is going to be the platform for all their latest technology and innovative ideas.

In the teaser image, we could make out very little. After all, it was designed to tease and not reveal much about the actual design. The clean dashboard design is something BMW has been pushing for almost a year now. They have continuously kept changing their cars so that they are on par with the evolution taking place in the automobile industry. At the same time, the German brand has focused on reducing the clutter and making the infotainment system among other functions readily accessible to the driver.

One of the unique concepts, which are part of the new Vision Car concept, is the Air Touch technology. As the name suggests, users will be able to easily control the functions and move through their audio or video files by using simple gestures. It was earlier introduced in the BMW 7-series cars. The company claimed that it is exceptionally easy for every user to navigate. The intuitiveness and the responsiveness of the gesture control are the same as a touch screen interface which makes life easier for the passengers.

Apart from the hand gestures used in the infotainment system, all future BMW vehicles and many existing ones have touch controls on the steering wheel. It enables the driver to easily control the features without having to rely on a passenger to help them out.

So far, it looks like BMW is on the right track. While the teaser image didn’t reveal us much about the upcoming design and the interior facets they have in mind, it wouldn’t be long before the company starts showcasing their ideas at the CES 2016. The show is set to take place in the month of January where all top automobile manufacturers are gathering with their best technology. Get ready to be amazed by all the automobile innovations.
