We will get the first glimpse of the next hypercar by Bugatti during this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The concept for the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is expected to make its way to the showroom and fans all over the world cannot wait to see it.

Sales for the new Bugatti will start sometimes in 2018, but the concept will be previewed first at the Frankfurt Motor Show and also in next year’s Geneva Motor show.

The concept car is first and foremost designed for the virtual game, Gran Turismo. However, all of the cars appearing in the game, later appear in the real world as wel.

According to Bugatti, the Vision Gran Turismo celebrates the history of the company, both in design and power. Fans will be quick to notice some of the design elements of the Veyron, but there is a glimpse of the future as well.

Next year, Bugatti will unleash the Chiron, a monster car with 1400 ponies under the hood, able to reach speed of up to 300mph.

Speaking of the design of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, the company has said in a statement that the characteristic DNA of the company’s style has been transferred to the vehicle. The side view is another aspect we’ve grown accustomed to with Bugatti. The front grille features the most recognizable design element, the horse shoe. Placed in the center of the front air intake, the horse shoe supports the structure of the car between the front splitter and the wings. The centre fin, is another design element that we’ve seen first in the legendary Type 57 released in 1936.

According to Achim Anscheidt, the design boss for Bugatti, the “progressive design language will give an impressive demonstration of the path to be taken by Bugatti design over the next few years”. Achim admitted that the Vision is first and foremost performance-oriented vehicle.

True to its race car style, the interior is stripped from some of the standard Veyron features. For example, the car has a race-car steering wheel and a digital dashboard. The Vision Gran Turismo will again be a luxurious two seat vehicle.

The car will make its first official appearance during the Frankfurt Motor Show, but there is no word yet when it will be available for the virtual world of Gran Turismo 6.
