Ford Introduces ST-Line Styling for Fiesta and Focus

Ford has launched new ST-Line styling for the Fiesta and Focus.

The exclusive add-on will be available only for buyers in Europe.

The idea is to make it easier for people to turn their ST models sportier than they already are. However, the package is not going to make any changes to the powertrain or the performance of the car. The suspensions will remain the same but the exterior changes are plenty which add up to the model’s outlook. It is quite similar to the M Sport package offered by BMW for particular models.

Roelant de Waard, vice president of marketing and sales, said, “A large group of customers can now experience a whole new level of sporty style and experience new driving dynamics like never before. The ST-Line cars will receive this significant upgrade which is going to boost multiple models including Ford GT supercar, Fiesta ST200 and the Focus RS. We expect to sell more than 40,000 performance variant cars in Europe which is a solid fifty percent growth when compared to sales chart last year. Performance tuned cars have always had great admiration from those in the region.”

When the ST-Line option is added to the model, it adds an exclusive badge to indicate the performance package is in it. The front fascia receives a new honeycomb grille and the fog lights are accentuated with dark surrounds. Fiesta ST will receive a front bumper lip spoiler while the Focus ST gets outstanding bumper inserts. Each model has its own add-on to boast about. Additional components which are part of the package include black beltline, front fenders and revamped side skirts.

The rear roof spoiler and the diffuser is much bigger when the cars are upgraded with the ST-line styling. New 17-inch alloy wheels with Rock Metallic gray color tone will be used in the cars. However, there won’t be any aggressive changes to the suspension found in the cars. They may not be able to match the level offered by original ST cars. The idea is to give it a visual bump with ST-styled additions including shift knob, scuff plates and headliner.

It will be available for both two door and four door Ford Fiesta hatchback models. The Ford Focus four door model can also be upgraded with the ST-styling. Ford has not announced the pricing and availability for the upgrade yet. They are expected to do it in the following weeks.
