Hyundai Launched A New i20 Turbo Edition With Additional Kits

For a small hatchback powered by a three-cylinder turbo engine, special editions are something unheard of. However, Hyundai seems to be proud of what they have achieved with their car. The budget friendly, moderate performer is a huge hit in most regions. Celebrating the same, the company has launched the Hyundai i20 Turbo edition priced at £12,975.

The car is powered by a 1.0-liter Turbo engine capable of delivering up to 99 horsepower. The five door model is definitely not geared towards sports car lovers and is made for moderate performance. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 10.9 seconds. If you love fast cars, it’s good not to go for the i20 Turbo as it is meant for the average buyer. Those who like to have a fuel efficiency, readily affordable model for everyday commuting with ample space, this car offers enough headroom for all passengers.

The same model in its previous generation doesn’t offer so many additional kits and features. The i20 turbo edition from Hyundai stands apart as it offers more bang for the buck. There are plenty of new equipment and components that will cost a lot more if purchased individually. The Turbo Edition features cruise control, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a multi-function wheel with leather wrapping.

While all these features are already found in the base model of the car, the new launch includes a large seven-inch touchscreen display to navigate the infotainment system. It uses satellite navigation, automatic lights, rain sensing wipers and a rear view camera. For anyone who finds it difficult to park their i20 or navigate it through congested locations, the camera should be of great help.

Along with the special edition, Hyundai i20 Turbo comes with free seven-year subscription to weather and traffic updates provided by TomTom. While these are all cool features, the pricing of the model £12,975which is almost a thousand pounds lower than the base model makes it a must buy. If you can manage to find the car in dealership store and has planned to go for a i20 already, this edition should be the best pick. It comes with a whole lot of connectivity and comfort features but for a lesser price tag than the original model.
