Infiniti Q60 Coupe Out Already before Detroit Auto Show

The 2016 Detroit Auto Show is becoming increasingly congested as more automobile manufacturers confirm their presence in the expo and their eagerness to launch new cars.

While the show is huge and warrants great attention, it is obviously filled with too many competitors, which is why car makers have started showing off their cars even before the year could end. The latest to join the list of big reveals is the Infiniti Q60 Coupe which focuses on taking down Audi’s A5 and Mercedes’ C-Class Coupe with its premium luxury in a compact package.

After making exquisite sedans and huge SUVs for many years, the automobile industry is turning towards crossovers and compact designs. After all, it is not easy to drive big cars around which paved the way for other smaller variants while luxury features available only in saloon type cars are now being integrated into small coupes for convenience. Amidst speculation, the first undisguised photos of the Infiniti Q60 Coupe had been revealed and it lives up to its promise in more than one way.

The first time we had an opportunity to see the vehicle is at the Detroit Motor Show which took place a few months ago this year. After a whole year of fine tuning the concept car, the makers are now ready to show their finished product at the same show next year. In terms of design, the car stays true to its concept and has very few changes made to it.

But, it is evident that the extremely stylish concept car has been revised so as to suit roads and make it easier for commuters. The sporty look has been toned down a bit in order to make the car appealing to a majority of buyers and not just sports car enthusiasts. The company didn’t reveal the engine and performance of the Q60 Coupe.

They do have a big reveal scheduled at the Detroit show, but the images show a lot of the car’s exterior design and its interior finish. We expect the car to be powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine and may have 400 bhp power. The car will have a strong focus on the European market. If it becomes a favorite among buyers in the region, the manufacturer will start promoting it in other countries starting with the U.S. and UK.

It’s only a month to go before the show which is scheduled to take place in January 2016. We will be there to cover it all!
