Cars aren’t everything as there’s an entirely different area where some just love to drive rugged models around. Jeep is set to rekindle the past by launching seven different concept models to celebrate the 50th anniversary Easter Jeep Safari.
The concept models are designed for the adventurists who just don’t want to be constrained by any limits. These vehicles allow drivers to go anywhere and practically do anything. They are distinct in their own respects and has design elements of their own. The first in the list is the Crew Chief 715 which personifies the military service vehicles and is inspired by the Kaiser M715.
It is powered by 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine and uses a five-speed automatic transmission system. There’s 20-inch beadlock wheels and 40-inch NDT military tires designed to withstand the most rugged conditions. Tactical green is the official color variant available that brings the military theme to life. It has a 1500mm cargo bed for storage purposes.
A long list of features is incorporated into the model including leather bucket seats, mopar mats designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions. The seats are equally robust to rain, snow and other demanding situations. There’s a media center for entertainment purposes combined with a navigational compass and switchgear system.
Jeep Trailcat is an another model featuring a 6.2-liter V8 engine with six speed transmission. It features fog lights, rock rails and a power dome vented hood created by Mopar. The car’s sports bucket seats are built using carbon fiber elements making them extremely resistive to changing climatic conditions.
The seven concept models also include the Jeep Trailstorm, Jeep Shortcut, Jeep Comanche and the Jeep Renegade Commander. Each one of them is extremely unique with mind blowing design, nostalgic and pure performers on the road. The concepts are created to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary in the industry.
“While we have always tried to come up with amazing models every year, this time it is quite special because of the anniversary celebrations. Our team is extremely confident that we have created highly capable, eye-catching concept Jeep vehicles to commemorate the anniversary. It’s going to be a historic event where not just fans but newcomers will also have something interesting to look forward to,” said Mike Manly, head of Jeep.
The 2016 Easter Jeep Safari commences on March 19th and will continue to run till the end of the month. It takes place in Utah where Jeep expects thousands of footfalls every day.
