The Maserati Levante is now available in dealership stores in Malaysia.
The diesel powered car was originally revealed a couple of months ago and has now reached buyers through Naza Italia.
The initial launch will be limited to the diesel powered engine which will be priced at RM888,800. The cost includes local taxes and duties which falls right in the point which elite buyers wouldn’t mind going for. The variant introduced in Malaysia is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine capable of producing up to 275 horsepower with 600 Nm of Torque. It is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox system and uses a Q4 all-wheel drive system.
Maserati claims that the Levante can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.9 seconds. The top speed of the model is pegged at 230 kilometers per hour. A couple of useful features are bundled in the car and it has been designed from the ground up to be a commuter friendly choice. It uses Skyhook adaptive dampers with active air suspension and the four different drive modes provided by the engineers will make changes to these components. The options available include Sport, Off-road, Normal and an ICE mode. The ICE stands for increased control and efficiency which we can confirm only when the test drive of the car is complete. It’s expected to offer the best aerodynamics and control irrespective of the car’s speed.
The Malaysian version of the Maserati Levante is inspired by current generation models from around the globe. It has 18-inch wheels with bi-xenon headlights for maximum visibility on the road. The dashboard is dominated by a 8.4-inch touchscreen display which is connected to the Maserati Control Plus Infotainment system. Leather upholstery, dual zone climate control system along with powered front seats are part of the package.
Buyers can choose to upgrade their Levante with a Luxury or a Sports package which will increase the price tag. The Sports edition uses red brake calipers, chrome door sills, sports steering wheel, 20-inch wheels and power adjustable steering column among other features. The Luxury edition uses black brake calipers, 19-inch Zefiro wheels with metallic front grille and lower bumper elements. The Maserati Levante comes with three year warranty including Maserati Premium Service Plus. The service allows you to get your vehicle serviced without having to spend extra cash. The brand designed it to offer it as a value added service for their elite customers.
