The CX-9 is a popular addition to the line-up of luxury cars that Mazda has. They have revamped the vehicle with brand new design, better interiors and a more powerful engine making it simply irresistible as a whole. The car will be available for buyers in the United States, but there is no word on its launch in other regions including the UK and Australia. Mazda probably wants to keep it exclusive to the region where SUVs and trucks have phenomenal demand, unlike the rest of the world which prefers more luxury cars and sedans.

However, there is word that the all-new Mazda CX-9 will make its way to the European market once the initial US launch is complete. The seven seater vehicle uses a Kodo design which borrows multiple instances of design elements from the likes of CX-3 and the CX-5 crossover models.

Among them all, the big grille in front of the SUV combined with the exquisite Mazda logo in the middle is exceptionally familiar. The brand has decided to not change much of its front so that it appears familiar to the buyers and not alienate them by making drastic changes. It is easy to spot that most models from the Japanese auto manufacturer feature a similar grille. Complimenting the front design are the sleek headlights.

The color variant showcased in the sample images is probably the best one you could opt for because it suits the Mazda CS-9 2016 edition with amazing perfection. The manufacturer will also offer a couple of other colors to choose from.

The seven seater SUV is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine. It is based on the brand’s preferred technology named SkyActiv. We can’t say what’s inside this technology because it is something only Mazda knows, but they confirmed that the type of engine allows the car to be extremely fuel efficient despite its huge size that demands plenty of power to be on the move.

A similar engine variant is already being used in the Kia Sorento and the Hyundai Santa Fe. Mazda’s aim is to make the CX-9 a great choice for compact SUV crossover lovers who need three rows with added legroom for every passenger.
