The brand’s latest flagship model, the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe is going to make its presence felt at the Paris auto expo.
The first ever public debut has already stirred interest among potential buyers.
The model is expected to go on sale in the month of December this year before which Mercedes and AMG aims to showcase the best features at one of the biggest auto expo. The GLC 43 coupe is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine. The powertrain is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission system. A similar setup can be found in multiple models in the 43 series including the SUV variant and the C 43 range of cars. The engine can generate up to 362 horsepower and has 520 Nm of torque. The power is equally split among the four wheels made possible by the brand’s exclusive 4Matic system.
Mercedes AMG GLC 43 coupe will have a huge opening at the Paris auto expo where a lot of other auto brands are going to show their newest models. It is also an expo where we can expect multiple hybrids and electric vehicle concept models to be revealed. The GLC 43 is a luxurious, performance model that can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds. The numbers are on par with the Jaguar F-Pace S and the Porsche Macan GTS.The top speed is pegged at 155 miles per hour.
Being an AMG model, the car is equipped with a lot of sporty components and has been tweaked to offer a much higher performance when compared to Mercedes base models. It has a sports steering wheel combined with five-mode dynamic select drive system. With a standard air suspension, the driver has the option to increase the ride height if they like to. A much sportier driving experience is ensured by the inclusion of the 4Matic four-wheel drive system.
The entire styling, both on the exterior and the interior of the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 coupe is utterly stylish. It has been created from the ground up to look sporty right from the big front bumper to the raked spoiler and the quad chrome exhausts. The car uses large 19-inch alloy wheels.
Carbon fiber components are used to design the dashboard, center console. The seats are contrasted with red stitching on the corners and the driver is treated to brushed metal pedal. The Mercedes AMG GLC 43 coupe has leather sports seats along with a race lap timer in the console.
