A new MINI Seven special edition has been launched and the car is the first of its kind, made to commemorate the first MINI launched in the year 1959.
While it is supposed to look exactly like the original model from the past, the designers have spent time to ensure it has unique finish. The styling is completely new yet it is nostalgic in every perspective. The idea is to mix the best of both worlds, the past design and some new changes so that they could showcase how the MINI has changed over the years yet look the same.
Buyers looking forward to go for the nostalgic model will have the choice to pick from four different colors. The MINI is available is Pepper White, Midnight Black, British Racing Green and Lapisluxury Blue. Even though, the base colors vary, the contrasting color variants used on specific components remain the same. All versions of the car use silver roof linings and door mirrors. The car is equipped with 17-inch two tone alloy wheels. Buyers can also choose to upgrade their model with silver bonnet stripes, if they wish to.
A touch of exquisiteness can be found in the interiors of the new generation nostalgic MINI. It features leather seats which sport a diamond matt brown finish. The MINI Seven exclusive logo is mounted on the instrument cluster. It is equipped with a 6.5-inch display with touchscreen capabilities. The center console supports Bluetooth connectivity and has dual-zone air conditioner features making it a complete package.
While these are found in all the base models, there are other additional components that can be added to the Mini. The Seven Chili package upgrades the car to full leather interiors and leather wrapping on the steering wheel. It uses fabric and leather by default but the package adds leather to all the areas. It also upgrades the car with LED headlights for better vision and cruise control system.
The Chili package also adds panoramic roof with heated seats and satellite navigation system. The car will also be equipped with a Harmon Kardon surround sound system when you choose to pay the additional cost. These components are not part of the package but can be purchased individually.
The auto manufacturer has confirmed that they are going to launch the retro MINI Seven at the upcoming Goodwood festival of speed. The pricing of the car has been confirmed at £18,545 and the five door model is priced a bit higher.
