The vehicle is mounted on the Pagani body made of titanium and carbon finer elements. From an intial glance, it is evident that the car is extremely small despite housing one of the most powerful engines in the world. According to the engineers who worked to build this hypercar, it is their attempt to build the lightest and faster car. They have probably already succeeded in achieving their goal if we are to go by the performance charts and numbers provided.
It houses a powerful engine designed by Mercedes AMG. The twin-turbo V12 engine is tweaked and customized for the Pagani Huayra BC. With some tinkering, the team has achieved a total of 740 horsepower out of it. The car is equipped with a sport exhaust, muffler to achieve a unique sound which is surprisingly lightweight when compared to the one found in the coupe.
The Huayra BC works on a seven-speed automated manual transmission system. It is custom built by the company Xtrac. Attention to detail is quite high in the gearbox system because it is incorporated with electro-hydraulic actuation system and carbon fiber synchronizers. The setup enables the driver to precisely control the gear as they intend to and promote quicker gear changes with hardly any gap between gear shifts.
Majority of the components found in the car is made of HiForg aluminum alloy. The suspension system has also been revised to add increased comfort levels while brakes are lighter and more responsive to control the car even when it’s zooming at its top speed. Pirelli P Zero Corsa 21-inch tires are used in the model which can be swapped for 19-inch if the buyer wants to.
Cheating the wind is the top priority for the entire crew because being a small and lightweight vehicle, it is important to maintain the best of aerodynamics. The model is made to keep the engine cool even at its peak performance and enough recess is found in the sides to let air pass through to reduce friction. It’s a hypercar with race track performance designed for the roads.
