Peugeot 208 Gets Two New Special Editions To Expand The Lineup

Peugeot 208 has expanded the lineup with two brand new special edition models.

They are named the Allure Premium and the Active Design.Peugeot 208The cars are expected to be out in dealership stores by mid-September just in time to promote the change to the 66-plate. The special edition Peugeot 208 Active Design is powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine. It is available either as a three door or a four door model. The variant spots a stylish new front grille, glossy black door mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights and the mirrors are adorned with new accents.

The accents are customizable to a certain extent. While the base color that most buyers go for is white, Peugeot 208 is now available in Menthol White and Lime Yellow color variants. You will have two more options to pick from which is available only with the special edition cars.

Allure Premium Peugeot 208 is the next edition. It is available only as a five door model and is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine. The car uses the Allure trim level but do has some special additions to make it a noticeable special edition model. The model has 16-inch alloy wheels which offers better dynamics, comfort and an increased wheelbase for the vehicle.

There are rearview cameras mounted on the back and the incoming feed is relayed in the infotainment system. An important addition for new drivers or those who need technological support to readily navigate traffic or tight parking spots. There is a satellite navigation system, panoramic glass roof among other safety features.

Color variants available for the Peugeot 208 include metallic red, grey, white, blue or silver. All these colors are offered in the metallic tone which makes the car look a lot glossy than it used to be. The choice might be an easy pick for some while those who like a more toned down look should opt for the Active Design which is available in Menthol White.

Pricing has been announced by Peugeot. The Active Design is priced at £13,985 while the Allure Premium edition of the 208 is priced at £16,215. The car is available in a complete package which includes breakdown cover, service, insurance and all other additional costs. The plan named just add fuel literally means it as you can drive the car out, fill up the tank and get going without having to spend extra.
