The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is the big wagon that most have been looking forward to.
The vehicle has got launched ahead of the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The new Panamera is easily a large wagon that as a four plus one seating setup with ample space enclosed within a large tailgate. The second generation model in the series sports a surprisingly lower loading lip combined with 20 liters of additional boot space making it the perfect vehicle for family trips.
Such a unique model in the Porsche Panamera series wouldn’t have been made possible if not for the Sport Turismo concept that was showcased during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The latest version of the car which is in its final stages of concept looks close to the production version and retains some of the unique features found in the 2012 concept. Porsche is pretty confident that they can convince buyers who are looking for more passenger and boot space to jump to the brand with this new offering.
A solid bunch of changes are made to the aerodynamics of the car which is complimented by a complex active spoiler element that is mounted on top of the tailgate. The designers claim that it will be used based on the mode in which the Porsche Panamera is being driven. The element can add an additional downforce that is measured up to 50 kilograms at the rear axle. The position of the spoiler will keep varying based on the speed of the vehicle.
The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is also equipped with a panoramic sliding roof. The total boot capacity of the car is at 520 liters making it the largest offering from the automobile brand. The model powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine delivers about 325 horsepower while a more potent 2.9-liter V6 powerplant will deliver up to 406 horsepower. The top of the line Sport Turismo is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 which delivers a solid 542 horsepower making it the best performance variant that you could get.
A 4.0-liter V8 diesel engine variant that produces 416 horsepower is also offered by the company. The pricing of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is expected to be €97,557 in Europe while the top of the line model will go all the way up to €158,604.
