The brand is associated with exclusivity as not everyone will own a Rolls Royce car and even those who own will probably have a limited edition variant of the particular model.
The company is further expanding their exclusivity by launching the new Rolls Royce Ghost Eternal Love edition in China. The car was showcased at the Minsheng Art museum in Beijing. Every element in the car has been exclusively designed for the Chinese market. And, as always the authentic craftsmanship and the attention to detail, the brand is known for, can be witnessed in the new car.
Speaking about the launch, Leon Li, director of Rolls Royce in the country expressed his happiness over the company’s decision to launch something special in China. He added that the design elements in the car, the white colored exterior, coupled with black and shape, have significance at every turn.
“Our aim with the Ghost ‘Eternal Love’ is to showcase to the buyers, the unparalleled level of creativity the engineers have in our team. At the same time, it will also embody the masterpiece creations that come from Rolls Royce to the buyers in China. The new launch is our gift to commemorate the Chinese New Year”, said Li.
The designers call it the swan design not only because of the obvious fact that the entire car is white in color with very little black areas, but also because of the seamless, curved design incorporated into it. It can be witnessed in the interiors including the shape of the seat, the curvature in the door handles, foot rest and many other spots. In China, swans are always associated with everlasting love and the limited edition car aims to achieve such a prestigious position among the local crowd.
The love theme is not only in the design, but also in the patterns used. A dual layered black line runs across the sides, which has a heart etched on it near the door handle. The car has 20-inch forged alloy wheels, satellite aided transmission for maximum comfort during the drive. It is powered by a 6.6-liter V12 engine and has an eight-speed ZF gearbox system.
Unsurprisingly, Rolls Royce has confirmed that the limited edition Ghost ‘Eternal Love’ variant will be exclusive for an elite crowd. Only sixteen of these museum friendly cars will be produced and buying it should be a tough call for those who haven’t pre-ordered it already.
