The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is all set to receive an upgrade with two different top level trim line variants namely the GX5h and the GX5hs.
The vehicles will be available in multiple regions, including the UK and we have an official price tag as well. The GX5h will be priced at £38,399 while the GX5hs will be priced a little higher at £40,499. The pricing may probably not convert exactly in other currencies, but it will be close to the one specified for the United Kingdom.
A wide range of unique and exotic features are being added to the cars so as to justify the modified price tag. The car is equipped with an amazingly high quality, high end music system, has rear seats which are capable of being heated and available in multiple color variants. The interiors are made better with the option to choose between seats with different colors. You can pick the one that suits the exterior or go for a completely opposite variant to come up with a wacky outcome. It also has LED lighting on the interiors for that extra oomph factor.
Both these high end trim line variants come with 18-inch alloy wheels, has tinted windows and supports auto lights. The wipers, front and rear fog lamps are fully automatic. They are activated based on road and weather conditions. Fog lamps make it easier to drive the car during winter season and when you are going on an uphill journey.
The luxurious features don’t end in the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV trim line variants. They are equipped with DAB radio to keep you entertained on the road and have dual zone climate control systems. The sunroof is electrically controlled, has auto-dimming main mirror and even the steering wheel supports heating facility to overcome those long, tiring journeys.
For newbie drivers and tight parking spots, the cruiser’s car is equipped with a 360-degree parking camera that you could make use of. The models also support satellite navigation, Bluetooth, has iPod, USB and SD Card support in the built-in infotainment system.
There are multiple safety features, including hill start assist, braking assist, city crash prevention and lane departure warning among a couple of other add-ons. The acceleration mitigation system is a useful add-on which prevents drivers from accidentally accelerating the vehicle at a wrong time. The Mitsubishi PHEV Outlander is a plug-in hybrid model which has an ardent share of buyers and the higher trim line variants are expected to boost further sales.
