Extremely Stylish Photos of 2016 Mercedes Benz SL Officially Released

2016 Mercedes Benz sl

Every single bit of news is related to the upcoming 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show and we just can’t help it when there are so many good cars being lined up.

Ahead of the grand auto show, the 2016 Mercedes Benz SL has been revealed in a bunch of stylish photos that showcase the grandeur and style of the car. Automobile manufacturers prefer to showcase their cars much earlier to the expos because there are at least three dozen brands slated for the show. It is easy to get lost in the crowd; which is why it is much better to show pictures and get people excited before the car is displayed on the show floor.

Mercedes Benz is following a similar strategy as done by many other brands. The SL is a really long car with lozenge inspired headlights and is equipped with an inverted grille. The front fascia is simply brilliant which is coupled with huge air intakes, a brand new bonnet and front wings modified to make the vehicle as aerodynamic as possible.

The sills have received the much needed refreshment while the tail lights have retained their earlier design. The graphics in the car are now more of an American styled car with a red finish and the rear bumper features an updated diffuser style. Some of the minor changes are not readily visible, but we will be able to easily list them out when the company representatives start talking about it during the show.

The 2016 Mercedes Bens SL features a highly integrated infotainment system with a large screen to control the features with ease. The car is expected to be available in three different variants, powered by a V6 engine, V8 and a V12 engine respectively. Each one of these engine variants is powerful at its own level. Based on the type you go for, the pricing will see some drastic variations, but it will obviously reflect in the overall performance of the car as well.

A nine speed automatic transmission system might be used in specific models. The car will have five driving modes to choose from and uses Active Body Control. The unique feature supports tilt and curve making it easy to control the V12 engine variant which could go extremely fast, especially if you are on the right road to push it to its maximum speed.

After the grand reveal in Los Angeles, the car will go on sale in the month of April next year.

Mercedes Benz Vision Tokyo is a Connected Lounge for Gen Z

Any commuter passing by the car may assume it’s some sort of colorful display advertisement for a brand or a van filled with lots of colors.

They can’t be blamed for being so naïve, because what Mercedes Benz has done with Vision Tokyo Connected Lounge is completely unique and the company’s official addresses it as the vehicle designed for Gen Z. From a company that is known for its professional and business appeal, a weirdly lit car like this one is an unpleasant surprise. After all, how many would want to go for a Mercedes that hardly look like a Benz, but rather like a party vehicle filled with lights?

Despite all these hassles, if you are still ready to go with it, there are plenty of perks that the Mercedes Benz Vision Tokyo offers. The car has been revealed during the Tokyo Motor Show which is underway at a brisk pace. The name of the car is Connected Lounge and we really expect them to change it before launching it to mainstream customers.

In the company’s own words, “The Connected Lounge is a car made to appeal to the Generation Z, people who were born after 1995 and have grown up with the new age media. We strongly believe that things have changed in the world of automobiles, because this new generation doesn’t treat cars as a way to get to places, but rather want it to be a connected hub. To appease the audience, the car has been integrated with some futuristic stuff including deep machine learning, and a predictive engine. The car learns what the occupants like and change itself to meet their preference over time”.

Mercedes Benz Connected Lounge uses a 26-inch wheels, which are fully illuminated with a blue light and it denotes the vehicle being emission free, relying purely on battery power to operate. The shark fin roof is equipped with a camera that could scan the inside in 360 degrees and it even allows you to customize the lighting system on the windshield as well as the exteriors.

It is designed to accommodate five passengers at the same time and uses a unique oval shaped couch. The car doesn’t have a front or back because looks the same in both directions. The concept on a full charge can deliver 118 miles on a single charge and can touch up to 608 miles with the help of its gasoline powered engine.

Mercedes Benz E-Class to be Used by Top Government Diplomats in India

Mercedes Benz is the leading luxury brand in the globe and is always associated with top officials because of the exquisite appeal it provides.

The Ministry of External Affairs in India has decided to buy 55 E-Class cars from the company to make it easier for the top diplomats to commute in the country.

According to a recent news update, it has been confirmed that the ministry has placed an order for the 55 vehicles as mentioned above and Mercedes Benz will be considering them as an exclusive order. It will not only have the default safety and comfort features incorporated into it, but will also have special additions designed to make it easier for the ministers to communicate with the headquarters when travelling. The cars are being purchased to meet the travelling requirements of select ministers, head of States, the President and the Prime Minister.

Ever since the Narendra Modi government was formed in India, the country has been adopting a couple of new policies never seen before. Lot of them are similar to the practices followed by top diplomats around the globe, especially in the United States and China. The American president uses a specially made limousine to travel and a similar trend will now be followed in India by its Prime Minister.

Speaking about the government requirement, Roland Folger, CEO of Mercedes Benz in India said that the head of states around the globe consider their car to be luxurious and safe for travel. “The reason why top diplomats choose our vehicle is that it acts as a prestige symbol wherever they go. We have developed such an important clientele around the globe and proud to host India this year. Choosing the E-class is a wise choice because it is one of the best in our offerings and is an ideal product that tops the luxury car segment in India”, he added.

Mercedes Benz E-Class has already sold over 33,000 units in the country. The one that the Ministry of India plans to purchase is the diesel variant powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine which has 201 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. It uses a 7G tronic plus automatic transmission system and reaches 100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds despite its heavy build. Additional features found in it include intensity control, electric sun blinds, rear crash structure and dedicated air vent for rear seaters to maintain an even temperature.

Mercedes-Benz Unveils 2016 GLE 450 AMG 4Matic: Promises 367 Horsepower Output

Mercedes-Benz, the automotive giant, unveiled its new 2016 GLE 450 AMG 4Matic which promises to deliver 367 horsepower output. This is the third car in the Mercedes-Benz mid-level SUV range.

The new GLE 450 features a 3L direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6 engine and makes 367 hp between 5500 and 6000 rpm. The peak torque of 383 pound-feet is achieved anywhere between 2000 and 4200 rpm.

The engine combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission system linked to all 4 wheels makes the new GLE 450 reach 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds and achieve maximum speed of 155 mph. The power distribution would be 40:60 with more power to the rear wheels for improved handling.

The new SUV will feature the company’s AIRMATIC air suspension, automatic level control and variable adaptive damping system. The exterior of the new GLE 450 sports an aggressive profile with body panels, chromed tailpipes and exclusive trim and 20-inch 5-spoke wheels.

There are five different driving modes, including Comfort, Individual, Sport Plus, Sport and Slippery. Every mode combines and optimizes multiple parameters such as steering response, how long each gear is to be held by the auto transmission, throttle response, stiffness of suspension and sound of the exhaust.

The new GLE 450 features a newly designed GLE 63-inspired, 20-inch alloy wheels, black mirror caps, and tailpipes with chromed trim. The interiors of the SUV features a flat-bottomed steering wheel wrapped in luxurious Nappa leather. Other standard technical features included in the new GLE 450 are attention assist, adaptive braking, start/stop, collision prevention assist, and crosswind assistant. Optional features that are available include climatized front seats, Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control and driving assistance package.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG 4Matic will make its public debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show scheduled in November. The cars are expected to be available for sale shortly thereafter. Pricing is also not yet announced by the company.

2016 Mercedes Benz E-Class Revealed in Amazing New Pictures, Tech Details Out

The manufacturer is determined to pull the car out of the ageing situation it is in at the moment. The 2016 Mercedes Benz E-Class high tech car is a great addition to the line-up and if one has to go by the pictures available, it’s definitely got the potential to revolutionize sales.

With fresh designs, integrated technology and performance, the C-Class as well as the S-Class are already ahead in terms of sales. But, when the new E-Class gets launched, it’s going to be a phenomenal victory for the company. They have already witnessed great sales with the model which has recorded over 13 million vehicles around the globe.

Mercedes claims that the upcoming E-class is going to be the most technologically advanced car they have ever produced. The company is gearing up to showcase it for the first time at the Detroit Motor Show scheduled to take place in the month of January, 2016. The first launch will be the saloon, then an Estate, two door coupe and the convertible. The launches will be spread throughout the year so that their sales don’t affect the other models.

The exterior of the 2016 Mercedes E-Class features a box-like design combined with fluid interior panels and brand new headlamps. The shape of the lamps will not be rounded but sharper so as to give a stylish, sporty look for the car. Maximum brightness will be rendered by 84 individual LED lights integrated into the headlamp which is much higher than the 24 found in the current generation E-class model.

The car is built on the MRA architecture because of which the designers are able to provide better headroom and legroom of the passengers. The upcoming version of the E-class will be longer and wider in shape, contributing to its stability and overall comfort level irrespective of the type of road you drive it in. The interiors have also been revamped to make them more attractive than ever. The traditional instrument cluster is mounted on the dash and there are two high definition digital displays. It is expected that these panels will be integral in allowing the driver to experience the most advanced control technology and safety features.

Intelligent Drive Tech will be an exclusive feature for the 2016 Mercedes E-Class. The technology will make use of the array of sensors and cameras mounted on the vehicle to provide easy updates to the drive for hassle free driving. We hope it receives semi-autonomous driving as well.

2016 Mercedes Benz CLA Shooting Brake Exposed in New Spy Shots

For starters, a mid-cycle upgrade for the 2016 Mercedes Benz CLA sounds unjustified because the wagon got released just a year ago.

It is not clear whether there will be buyers interested in upgrading their vehicle so early after an initial purchase.

Mercedes Benz CLA Shooting Brake is coming whether you embrace it or not. The car was revealed in a set of spy shots and surprisingly, it was not camouflaged. The manufacturers might have let it out in the open because it looks very much like the CLA with very minor changes in terms of looks and features. The vehicle has received mechanical upgrades which include Dynamic Select driving modes apart from the adaptive damping suspension. The latter feature will be available on all entry level models, while it will give an amazing level of boost for the Mercedes Benz AMG variants.

Apart from the mechanical changes, the Mercedes Benz CLA Shooting Brake will sport stylish and sportier front lights as well as brand new bumpers. The interior features are similar except for more compatibility with mobile devices and better connectivity. In every perspective, it is evident that the wagon is not going to differ much from the model which got launched a year ago. For buyers who may not mind about making a new investment or for those looking forward to changing their existing wagon, this might be an able choice.

The CLA Shooting Brake is expected to be powered by a four-cylinder 2.0 liter engine and will rely on a 7-speed dual clutch transmission system. The basic model will use a front wheel drive system, but if you are adamant on having stubborn acceleration, the manufacturer offers an option to upgrade your wagon to an all-wheel drive.

If you live in the United States, you should probably skip the idea of buying the 2016 Mercedes Benz CLA Shooting Brake when it gets officially launched. The manufacturer opined that the demand for wagons is very less in the country when compared to the other regions. From their perspective, it is more than reason enough to skip launching the wagon in there.

Mercedes Benz has plans to come up with more new cars and have plenty of concept cars lined up for showcase. They are expected to reveal them during the first auto expo which takes place during the first quarter of 2016. Until then, the brand will focus on revamping the existing models and replenishing supplies to their authorized dealers.

2016 Mercedes Benz V-Class AMG Line Set for Frankfurt Motor Show Launch

The Mercedes Benz V-Class is one of the long running models that are prevalently known to the buyers. It is not a luxury sedan or a high class SUV, but a comfortably large van that is designed to be a people carrier.

Some people living in specific regions may not have heard or seen the V-Class AMG line van, because it is not meant for every consumer group. Being a Mercedes vehicle, it is obviously high on the price tag and may not suit every terrain because of its luxurious finish. For commuting large groups of people within the city, there is no better option than this one which is why the 2016 Mercedes Benz V-Class AMG Line is all set to be out to surprise buyers again.

The vehicle is set for a grand reveal at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The first version of the van was released in 1996 which seems so far in the past now. Ever since its launch, there have been numerous changes to its models and the name. It was known as the V-Class for some years after which Mercedes decided to rename it as the Viano. At present, the luxury van is being sold around the globe under different names – Marco Polo, Vito or as the Metris in the United States.

Scheduled for launch at the expo, the manufacturer is not keen on sharing the technical specifications and pricing of the upcoming vehicle. However, it is expected that the 2016 Mercedes Benz V-Class AMG line will feature posh, luxurious interiors with heating seats, a fully connected infotainment system and convenient add-ons to accommodate multiple passengers at once.

The model is already known for its accessories including cup holders, book holders, spacious interiors with increased headroom and legroom. The challenge the designers have at the moment is to boost all these elements without increasing the overall weight or height of the vehicle. The AMG line will be more powerful in terms of performance and similar to their other products, Mercedes may use a new type of carbon fiber, aluminum to increase space without adding more weight.

AMG has been working on multiple Mercedes models, but this is going to be the first time that the brand will get their hands on a van from the company. It is not easy to create a fast and robust van which AMG is known for. We can confirm only when more information is revealed at the Frankfurt motor show.

Mercedes Benz Expands S-Class Line-up with Drop Top Cabriolet

Mercedes released a roofless Cabriolet in the 1971 and after a hiatus, the company is at it again with their new 2017 S-Class drop top Cabriolet which is designed to redefine luxury even without a no- roof design.

BMW, Bentley and Rolls Royce already have their own drop top flagship vehicles. Despite losing their top, these vehicles offer the best of luxury in its class that Mercedes Benz aims to compete with. The new S-Class coupe Cabriolet can comfortably seat up to four people and shares its features with the original S-Class, except for the fact that it has a cloth roof. It reduces its weight and rigidity, but in terms of driving experience, the manufacturer wants to ensure that their customers get the best.

In order to maintain stability and rigidity, the designers have used magnesium and aluminum components in the rear floor as well as the luggage compartment. It will ensure that the driver will have complete control over the vehicle even during bendy curves and twists. Mercedes has introduced new technology in this drop top S-class coupe, including an ‘AirCap’ and ‘AirScarf’. The purpose of these technologies is to add an automatic wind protection system when going at high speeds with the top open and to heat the seats to maintain warm temperature, if the outside temperature gets chilly.

The arm rest and seat are integrated with the sensors that are capable of automatically heating up if the temperature drops below a specific level. It makes it easier for the driver and the passengers to focus on the ride rather than having to fiddle with the temperature controls. The 2016 S-Class coupe Cabriolet with an open top design is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, which renders an impressive 449 horsepower coupled with 516 lb ft of torque.

It uses a 9 speed automatic transmission system that is capable of rendering top speed or a smooth experience based on your mood. For buyers who need maximum performance, the drop top coupe has an AMG version powered by a V8 5.5 liter twin turbocharged engine. It delivers an increased 577 horsepower, 664 lb ft of torque and can reach 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds.

While Mercedes didn’t confirm it officially, rumors claim that the company has plans to launch a V12 engine variant of the S-class Cabriolet, which will offer a whopping 621 horsepower. It could easily be one of the most powerful open top luxury cars in the world when it gets launched.

2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet – First Pictures Reveal Lavish Interior

Standing next to the 1971 280 SE, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet shows just how much the company has advanced in the last 40 years.

It’s been 44 years since the Bavarian company has released the S-Class convertible, but the 2016 S-Class Cabriolet is one worth waiting for.

The 2016 S-Class Cabriolet is dubbed as the “most comfortable cabriolet” in the world and the first picture, released by Mercedes, sure proves the premise. The convertible is trimmed in the cream of the crop luxurious materials, with multiple features to make the life of the driver and passengers as easy and comfortable as possible.

The first official image follows a sketch that was revealed last week. In the picture, the S-Class Cabriolet is pictured in the red leather cabin, with silver interior.

The Bavarian company will release the new convertible during next month’s motor show in Frankfurt and fans cannot wait any more. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet will be in the same segment as the Bentley Continental GT Convertible and the Rolls-Royce Dawn. When the Bavarian company announced the convertible, they said the intention was to make the “most comfortable cabriolet” and surpass the Bentleys and the Rolls-Royces of the world.

The interior of the S-Class cabriolet features the popular Aircap automatic wind protection system, enhanced with the neck heating system, as well as heating for the armrests, the rear seats and much more. The 2016 convertible also has fully automatic climate control.

The exterior of the 2016 cabriolet is based on the same platform as the 2016 S-Class Coupe.

Mercedes is expected to release three versions of the 2016 S-Class cabriolet, the standard S500, as well as the AMG S63 and the S65. The S500 will be powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine, with the S63 AMG getting a 5.5-liter engine. The cream of the crop is the S65, powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-16 engine. The S-Class cabriolet will cost more than its Coupe sibling. For comparison, the standard S500 coupe is priced at $319,000, with the AMG S63 costing $409,000 and the S65 priced at $499,000. Future owners could also expect an S550 and an S600 version, given that Mercedes would like to outmatch the upcoming Rolls-Royce Dawn.

Mercedes Leaks the Mercedes-Benz 2016 S-Class Cabriolet Version

Mercedes took a rather unconventional approach with the launch of the 2016 S-Class Cabriolet. Car companies usually keep the design of their new models secret, but since the cabriolet doesn’t threaten any existing car in the lineup, the German company leaked the images of the 2016 S-Class version.

It is a way to whet the customer’s appetites and prepare them for the September Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 2016 S-Class Cabriolet is the first convertible by Mercedes since 1971 and it is scheduled to go on sale from next year.

By what we can see at the pictures, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet is a four seating limo, joining the fellow two-door model by Mercedes, the S-Class coupe. Many of the aesthetic characteristics of the S-Class coupe make their way to the Cabriolet as well, including the scalloped sides, slender tail lamps, long low-slung profile, the chamfered rear and the semi-clamshell hood. The difference is that the 2016 Cabriolet will feature new, redesigned A-pillars designer to keep the vehicle in the upper echelon of safe cars.

Inside, Mercedes has placed a center console that flows between the passengers seated in the front seats and goes into the rear occupants as well. The dashboard previously seen on the S-Class coupe is also present.

Information regarding what is under the hood are poor at the moment, but rumors are that the S-class Cabriolet will have the same engines as the sedan and the coupe models. If that is true, we can expect a5.5-liter V8 engine and a 6.2-liter V12 engine.

The 2016 S-Class Cabriolet will debut in Frankfurt, during the annual motor show in September. There were rumors that the car might be shown in China first, but experts believe Mercedes wants to show the Cabriolet in its full glory in Frankfurt during one of the most prominent car shows in the world. The Cabriolet is designed to rival the GT Convertible by Bentley, in the same way as the Maybach is designed to rival the Bentleys and the Rolls-Royces of the world.

The S-Class Cabriolet is the sixth model that comes from the S-Class family by Mercedes. The others are the saloon model, the coupe model and the Maybach luxo models.

Next Generation 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Will Look and Feel Premium

Mercedes-Benz is already working on a new 2016 E-Class model that should debut early in 2016. Up until now, nobody outside of Mercedes-Benz knew how the car would look or what the performances will be.

However, a rendered image, courtesy of RM Design shows what might be in store for the next generation of the E-Class. Take the picture with a grain of salt, as nothing is certain. However, some features are already rumored, as well as the possible engines and performances of the car.

Let’s start from the design that will experience some changes and tweaks. We have previously seen some of the spy shots of the new E-class. The pictures clearly show resemblance in the lines to the already announced C and S class. The 2016 E-Class will ride on the same MRA platform that has a goal to increase the size and lose weight. Expect the next generation of the sedan to be bigger, but lighter.

When it comes to the power and performance, rumors are that the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will offer several engines. Some of the new units that experts believe will make its way to the E-class are the 2.9 liter V6 diesel engine that produces 313hp and a 400hp quad turbocharged engine.

Some of the biggest strengths of the upcoming E-Class are in the field of technology. The next generation should make the driving experience as comfortable and as luxurious as possible. The 2016 E-Class will feature several technologies that will make the driving experience semi-autonomous.

The biggest innovation is the “Car-to-X” feature, a new communication system that Mercedes-Benz has developed for communication between vehicles. The idea behind the system is that it should reduce the risk for collision, especially at junctions and around tight bends. The system will vastly improve the driving experience when visibility of traffic is reduced.

The next generation of the luxury sedan should also incorporate a number of sensors that will improve safety, starting from a stereo camera facing forward, as well as rear and side camera sensors. The company will also install the Intelligent Drive System into the E-Class. The system ensures that the vehicle is always at an appropriate distance, even when driving up to 200km/h. Other safety measures include the Active brake Assist system and the Evasive Steering Assist technology. The brake system helps with braking whenever the system detects slow moving traffic. The steering assist technology, on the other hand, completely takes control of the car when the system notices a pedestrian.

Regarding the release date, initial reports are that the E-Class could make its debut in January, during the NAIAS show. However, we can never be certain and considering that the vehicle is still early in development, the scheduled date might be delayed a month or two.

Mercedes Benz G Class 2016 Edition Specs and Official Pricing Confirmed

While the imminent launch of the Mercedes Benz G Class 2016 edition is a known story, what we didn’t know till now are the specifications and the base price of the vehicle.

It has a base price starting at $120,825 which also includes the delivery charges of $925. The offer is applicable for people living in the United States. Powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine, the SUV is capable of delivering a solid 416 horsepower with 450 pound feet of torque. The engines are twin turbocharger, which is considerably more powerful than the earlier models. However, they are not beasts on the road and may not satisfy those who want a car that could touch a record top speed.

Besides, the vehicles are designed for the rugged, long distance riders. The sturdy wagon relies on an all-wheel drive with a renovated body and ladder construction. Based on your daily usage scenario, you can either go for the sports mode or the comfort mode. The mode will determine the type of shock absorbers, seats and baseline installed in the SUV.

The next variant in the Mercedes Benz G Class 2016 edition is the G63 AMG. The base pricing is at $140, 825 and includes the same transportation charges as mentioned above, in the U.S. The vehicle is powered by a V-8 5.5 liter engine capable of providing 563 horsepower and 560 lb feet of torque. It is capable of reaching 0 to 62 within just 5.4 seconds. Buyers who need the extra horsepower and can afford the increased pricing can go for the G63 AMG.

A wide range of color choices is being offered with the 2016 edition of the vehicles, including fruit flavors, alien green among others. While these models are more affordable, Mercedes will also bring in the big guns.

The G65 priced at $220, 825 uses a 6.0 liter V12 turbocharged engine delivering 621 horsepower and 738 lb feet of torque. The vehicle is one of the biggest and rugged Benz variants to hit the market soon. These models will be made available worldwide with new ones coming soon.

2016 Mercedes-Benz G550 Arrives in US in November with New AMG Engine

Mercedes announced the pricing for the G-Class that is set to arrive in the US in November. The basic 2016 Mercedes-Benz G550 will start at $120,825, which represents a slight increase in the price compared with the entry model of the 2015 class.

The rugged G-class of 2016 looks similar to the previous version, with a few tweaks in the design.

The big news and improvement is under the hood, where Mercedes will replace the existing 5.0 liter V8 engine with a new, 4.0 liter V8 engine that the company has borrowed from the AMG GT. The new engine produces 416hp, and with 450lb of torque and represents a huge improvement in the power section over its predecessor. For starters, the new engine produces 34hp more.

Mercedes has said that the change in the engine section comes in order to improve the fuel efficiency of the rugged SUV, but hasn’t announced official figures. For now, customers will have to assume and predict how much fuel they will save.

Some of the design tweaks of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz G550, which is the entry model in the class, include bigger wheel arches, restyled bumpers and 19 inch wheels that are now standard for the SUV.

Inside, the rugged G550 also gets a makeover, starting from the instrument cluster. The updated cluster should be more practical and better suited for daily usage.

Along with the standard G550, Mercedes will offer two AMG versions of the G-Class. The first one is the G63 AMG, with an engine of 563hp that starts at $140,885. The cream of the crop is the G65 AMG, a rugged SUV with a 6.0liter V12 turbocharged engine that can produce 621hp. It represents one of the fastest SUVs in the segment, for a price of $218,825. The G65 arrives for the first time in the US with the 2016 model. However, predictions are that the middle, G63 AMG will be the most popular version, as that has been the case in the past with the G-Class.

All in all, the new G-Class offers more power for a higher price than its predecessor. Even more importantly, Mercedes is finally shipping the ultra-powerful G65 across the pond. The trio will arrive in dealerships from November. The price doesn’t include a destination charge, which costs $925 for all three models.

Pricing Revealed for 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC, GLE Coupe, G-Class and C450 AMG

Mercedes-Benz has released prices for several of the 2016 models, including the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC. The new compact utility car should replace the GLK model in the lineup for the year of 2016.

The price for the GLC300 with manual drive starts at $38,950, while the price for the automatic all wheel system starts from $40,950. Both prices are without the destination charge which is priced at $925.

Judging by first impressions and comments, the price is reasonable and should help Mercedes compete with rival in the segment. The price of the 2016 GLC delivers less power than its rivals, but a lot more technology. And according to many experts, power is not the primary selling factor in the segment dominated by the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3.

Both the manual drive and the automatic drive transmission are powered by a 2.0 turbocharged engine that produces 241hp. Customers can also choose a nine-speed automatic transmission as an optional feature.

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC is a bit bigger vehicle than the GLK. The German automaker has made a priority to offer more room in the interior and in the truck as well. Another selling point is technology, as the GLC offers much more technology features than the GLK. Some of the new features are the air suspension and the track pad controller.

Experts also expect Mercedes to improve the fuel efficiency. At the moment, the GLK produces fuel efficiency of 25mpg in highway and 19mpg in the city.

Apart from the pricing for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC model, the German company has also announced the prices for other 2016 model cars.

Among them is the 2016 G-Class, which starts at $120,825. The new model is pricier than the previous, but comes with new front and rear bumpers, as well as better interior, including a new instrument cluster. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is available with a twin-turbo engine, a 4.0 liter V8 engine that produces 416hp. The AMG version of the G-Class, named AMG G63 produces 563hp for a price of $140,825.

Two other models are the 2016 C450 AMG 4MATIC and a sports car powered by a twin-turbo engine that produces 362hp. The car can hit 60 mph in little less than five seconds. The price for the sports car starts at $51,725. The last 2016 model on the list is the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe that is expected to hit the market later this month. The standard version is priced at $66,025, while the AMG version costs $110,225.
