Next Gen Audi RS3 2017 Edition is Ready for Geneva Motor Show Launch

An updated version of the Audi RS3 has been confirmed by the automobile manufacturer and it will be launched at this year’s Geneva motor show.

The upcoming model will go against the BMW M140i and the Mercedes Benz A45 cars. It has been revealed ahead of the motor show so as to keep the press and public interested in what Audi has to offer. The company confirmed that the 2017 RS3 hatchback will be powered by a five-cylinder turbocharged engine. The heavily tweaked variant of the powertrain will provide much better acceleration than the engine used to power the RS3 saloon variant.

With the improved 2.5-liter engine, the car is capable of delivering an impressive 394 horsepower combined with 354 lb feet of torque. The engine is mated to a seven speed double clutch S-Tronic gearbox. The 2017 Audi RS3 can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 155 miles per hour. If you are not fully satisfied with the top speed, the engineering team will be more than happy to tune the model to make it go up to 174mph. That’s such a huge benchmark for the model and will be designed to meet the expectations of speed enthusiasts.

Compared to the RS3 hatchback performance, the Mercedes and BMW cars fall slightly behind. The M140i xDrive can reach 60mph in 4.6 seconds while the A45 4Matic does the same in 4.2 seconds. Made to offer the best of customized driving experience, the Audi model is equipped with three different driving modes. You can choose between Comfort, Auto and Dynamic. With specific changes made to the gearbox, throttle and steering, these modes effectively change the way the car works. Buyers can choose to upgrade to RS Sport suspension system with adaptive damper control if they prefer to have stiff controls for a more controlled driving experience.

The front bumper has undergone a major overhaul with the large RS3 badge in the middle. It combines large air ducts and splitter that provides an aggressive look for the car. The headlights are equipped with matrix LED setup, a proprietary system used in all latest Audi models. Apart from the exterior changes, the 2017 Audi RS3 has all the connectivity options and a luxurious interior. The company didn’t detail much of it but when the Geneva motor show reveal takes place, they will discuss all the info including pricing and release date.

2018 Audi TT-RS Nardo Grey Variant Picture Revealed in Reddit Forum

The Nardo Grey color variant of the 2018 Audi TT-RS is under development and a picture of the car was posted online by a Reddit user.

The popular car houses some of the best components in the world and is an anticipated launch in the automobile industry. From earlier updates, it is known that the car delivers about 400 horsepower and is powered by a 2.5 TFSI inline 5-cylinder turbocharged engine. While these details were available in abundance, there was no word on the actual launch date. Even now, we can’t confirm the actual date but a launch window is known. The 2018 Audi TT-RS Nardo Grey is expected to be available in the month of March or by April, reports Audi World.

The source being an anonymous tipster it’s difficult to take it as an announcement from the company. However, the pictures posted on the Reddit forum by a user named KX321 seems to be legit and add strength to the recently floated rumor. Everything that you love about the Audi is found in this model right from the angular shapes to the aggressive front end and the overall look, much of which is borrowed from the RS7.

Mounted on 20-inch wheels supplied by Pirelli, this P-Zero ultra-low profile tires are beautifully camouflaged in the vehicle’s bodywork. They are controlled with carbon ceramic discs combined with 8-piston Brembo monobloc calipers and fixed spoiler. The rear end is equally impressive with carbon fiber diffuser and oval exhaust finishers that looks very much like the ones used on the RS5 model.

An important aspect that adds credibility to the picture of the 2018 Audi TT-RS Nardo Grey variant is that the car is spotted on a show floor. It’s not randomly shot on the road or camouflaged but is in full view. When the manufacturer showcases it fully, they are obviously getting ready to launch it in different regions and the United States could be one of them. The TT-RS showcase is probably from a dealer conference to finalize the deals before they hit stores and it does ad credibility to the March-April release.

The Reddit user has posted a bunch of pictures and all of them are of high quality giving us a detailed look on how the new TT-RS Audi car could look like. The components are of high end that adds much hype to the already popular car. We have no word on its pricing yet but we expect some updates close to launch date.

2017 Audi Q8 Concept Teaser Released, Official Reveal at Detroit Auto Show

The 2017 Audi Q8 concept teaser is all one needs to see as it previews the future range of Q-series toppers from the automobile brand.

The company is about to have a grand official reveal at the upcoming Detroit auto show.

The North American International Auto Show, commonly known as Detroit expo is where the Audi Q8 concept is heading to. The renderings are purely for depiction and may not represent the actual production model. However, the sketches showcase an emotional styling of the car that’s sleek, aggressive and most of all extremely stylish. It is expected to pave way for new designs in the full-size category.

With strict contention on all sides from Mercedes Benz GLE models and the BMW X6, Audi aims to stand apart with its range of SUVs in the Q-series. The car will be designed on the MLB platform that is already being used for the Q7 models. The versatile platform allows the engineers to offer multiple powertrain options including petrol and diesel engine variants. They will sport both V6 and V8 engines.

“The new design and the concepts previewed with the Audi Q8 will serve as the benchmark for our Q model line in the future. The showcar depicts the development we have been involved in for a long time. The idea is offer the best in-class interior space with equally comfortable seats, sleek exterior looks with flat roof line without compromising on drive quality,” said Audi’s design head Marc Lichte.

The company has released two different teaser images, one of them showing the front end of the SUV that is much wider than any other car in Audi’s current lineup. The front fascia is large yet not boxy looking and has three-dimensional sculpting adding to its visual appeal. The car has taken some inspiration from the 1980s, the Audi ur-quattro a model most modern day buyers may not be aware of.

By taking design cues from their own cars that are more than two decades old, the automobile manufacturer has managed to retain the flavor of the Audi brand yet innovate in a way no one expected them to. The flares above the wheels, C-post and bold look is close to the Quattro from the past.

Earlier updates confirmed that the 2017 Audi Q8 concept will also be equipped with next generation technologies including OLED high-definition touchscreen display, 48V electric battery system and a newly developed autonomous driving system.

Audi Unveils Special Black Edition For A3, TT, S6 and S7 Variants

Audi first launched the Q3 Black Edition that grabbed the attention of many and it was a successful launch which now prompted the brand to roll out special black editions for the A3, TT, TT Roadster, S6 Avant and the S7 Sportback edition.

All these models come with a different price tag and trimlines based on what you opt for. The most affordable Black Edition available in stores is the Audi A3 priced at £26,565. The car is available as a three-door and five-door model, with both sportback and saloon versions giving buyers much options to pick from. The features found in this particular model are a significant upgrade from the original S-Line trim. It now packs 18-inch alloy wheels with privacy glass and the black color tone is carried throughout the car including the door mirrors and the grille. The ten-speaker system offers great surround sound experience and gives a premium feel to the A3.

Next in the lineup is the Audi S3 Black Edition priced at £33,880. It uses five-sport 18-inch Turbine wheels while the saloon variant uses 19-inch wheels. There’s always a prominent focus on sound quality as the S3 uses a surround system from the Bang and Olufsen brand. Following the same is the TT and TT Roadster Black Edition models priced at £31,735. They have the same sound system from Bang and Olufsen combined with larger 19-inch Blade alloys. The more powerful TT S Black Edition is priced at £41,285. The TT Roadster is equipped with an electric wind deflector.

With every new model in the lineup, there is a notable increase in the wheel size. All the Audi Black Edition cars have bigger, black wheels to compliment the overall lineup. The S6 and the S6 Avant Black Edition boast of large 20-inch alloy wheels with a stylish five spoke design. The S7 Sportback bumps it up even further to 21-inch wheels. Instead of the sound system from Bang and Olufsen, they get upgraded to a more popular brand, Bose. The surround system features multiple speakers from Bose. It also features piano black finish in the interior trim combined with an easy to use flat bottomed steering wheel for best comfort.

In terms of powertrain, all the Audi cars including the A3, TT, S6 and S7 variants remain the same. There is no change in its overall performance or fuel efficiency whereas the black edition is all about cosmetic changes and making it more, black!

Audi Speculated to Name its Electric SUV as E-Tron

Audi is planning to strengthen their hold on the name E-tron and it is speculated that the company is going to name their first electric SUV as the e-tron.

The name is a great start for the automobile brand that has plans to grow big in the electric vehicles sector and will define all their future models. A couple of months ago, it was said that Audi has planned to name its electric SUV as Q6 but things have changed ever since. Speaking to an automobile magazine, Rupert Stadler, Audi’s CEO commented that they have decided to go with the name e-tron and it will define their stand in the electric segment.

“We can easily compare the first EV with the first ever Audi Quattro which was simply called as the Quattro. In the long run, the name will be associated with pure electric variants and will be used for all models that fall under the category,” he said. While the CEO didn’t brief it, we can say that the other electric cars will be addressed as Audi A6 e-tron, A7 e-tron and others with the original model name in front of the e-tron tag.

The same cannot be applied for hybrid models. Stadler talking further to the auto magazine added that they are extremely interested in making an all-electric sedan. If confirmed, it will be the big competitor from Audi that goes head on against Tesla’s Model S sedan. Almost every manufacturer is keen to take down Tesla and its slew of cars. The EV company has already announced Model 3, a cheap electric car which is about to change the automobile industry forever.

The new car is slated for 2018 launch and if Audi has plans to step into the electric vehicle market at the right time, they should probably get ready right now and invest more in R&D developments. Audi has planned to roll out at least three electric vehicles before the end of 2020. They have also planned to launch a compact hatchback in the same period.

If there is a drawback for Audi to proceed forward and launch some kickass EVs, it is the fact that its parent company Volkswagen is undergoing some severe dieselgate issues. However, the top engineers and executives in the company are looking for ways to launch notable cars that would keep boost sales. We will know more about Audi’s plans as years’ progress.

Audi Q5 Revealed in New Teaser Video Ahead of Paris Show Debut

A new teaser video of the upcoming Audi Q5 has been released and it comes from the automobile manufacturer just days before the 2016 Paris Auto Show debut.

The majority of the auto brands have decided to tease and launch some of their touted vehicles before the auto expo. They are probably aiming to get utmost attention rather than getting lost in the waves of cars that are heading to Paris soon. While some companies choose to reveal the entire car, photos and specifications, others did teaser videos and images to keep buyers on the edge.

The Audi Q5 has received one such feature and some specifics that you could look forward to. The front fascia of the car is largely dominated by narrow headlights while the rear taillights are completely revamped. They are equipped with a unique lighting setup which lights up in a more prominent manner based on the direction the car is about to turn. The clamshell liftgate found in the model will be retained so as to keep it close to the original design.

With the launch of the Q7, Audi engineers are free to focus on the models that are to fill up the mid-range and the entry level models. They have worked a lot on the Audi Q5 which is evident from the teaser and other information that we have gathered so far. The car is in its first generation even though it was originally launched in the year 2009. The manufacturer for some reason didn’t release next gen models and the revamp they are about to do now is to cope up the backlogs for more than a decade.

The 2018 edition of Audi Q5, the second generation model should look as stylish as the latest cars and also be equipped with features to satisfy demanding customers of today. While it uses a turbo-four engine with connectivity features and the virtual cockpit, it does look a bit out of date. The final production version may undergo some changes but if Audi could look into this before the launch, they will be able to market the Q5 to the mainstream audience without any caveats.

Before the Audi Q5, the Q3 compact crossover is about to hit dealership stores and will be available for customers by the end of the year. The Q5 will be on display during the 2016 Paris auto show and it’s release date may not be far behind.

Audi Q3 Crossover Adds S Line Variant for European Buyers

Sporting a brand new athletic body and stylish design, the new Audi Q3 crossover adds a S line variant exclusively for European buyers.

The brand has confirmed that the new trim line will go on sale in Europe before the end of this year. With the new sport trim, the Q3 sports larger air intakes and the grille has a stone gray finish. The center inlet blade is now painted yellow to contrast the exterior color. Other additions include diamond pattern on the air inlets accentuated by new front skirt.

Designers at Audi has duly used a nice combination of black and gray in the car. They have used highly gloss black finish in the front fascia but the areas that are left out has a stone gray finish. They look amazing when put together because of the right choice of colors. However, Q3 will no longer be available in Tundra Brown. Instead, a camouflage green is being offered by the company.

The glossy black finish is found throughout the new Audi Q3 crossover including the exterior mirrors, the door trim strips, spoilers on the roof, bumper, wheel arches, roof rails and other areas. It has been appropriately used to make the primary color look attractive. Indicating the car’s new trim line, a S badge is mounted on the fender but it is presented in such a subtle manner that you may not notice it instantly. The Audi Sport edition uses 19-inch gloss black wheels completing the whole setup.

Elite black finish and sports components are found in the inside of the car as well. The sports seat covers are all embossed with the S logo. It has obviously nothing to do with Superman but rather indicates the trimline of the car you own. The seats are made using a mix of fabric and leather materials. Buyers can upgrade it to Nappa leather for an unparalleled premium finish.

The controls are all aluminum finished, the steering wheel is covered with leather and the aluminum gear knobs have a leather cover on top for increased comfort. The S line suspension offers good comfort even when driving in uneven surfaces. Since 2011, Audi has been selling the same Q3 variant in Europe and the new revamped edition would help them push sales further. The pricing is expected to be around 33,050 euros. There is no word on bringing the new S trim line of the Audi Q3 to U.S. yet.

Audi A5 And S5 Five Door Variants Get Launched In Europe

The five door sportback variant of the Audi A5 and the S5 is now available in Europe.

The car has undergone some distinct changes and is rumored to get launched in the U.S. later this year.

The front fascia of the Audi A5 Sportback resembles a lot like the A5 coupe but it has been modified to justify that it really belongs to the sports variant. The total wheelbase of the car has been stretched by 2 inches which significantly contributes to the total area within the vehicle. It has allowed the engineers to add two more doors offering space for additional passengers.

A dedicated liftgate is found in the model which seamlessly ends in the taillights. With a combination of carbon fiber and other lightweight materials, the car’s overall weight has been kept at the lowest possible numbers. The new generation vehicle is 33.1 pounds lighter when compared to the outgoing model.

The powertrain and fuel options offered in the European region has always been different when compared to the U.S. The new Audi A5 and S5 sedans in the continent will be offered with two petrol engine variants and three diesel engines. The base model engine is capable of rendering 248 horsepower with 278 lb feet of torque.

The S5 Sportback edition is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of delivering 349 horsepower. The car can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.7 seconds. The top speed of the car is pegged at 155.3 mph. Audi has implemented their proprietary virtual cockpit display in the car which should probably keep you updated on everything related to the car and other relevant information.

A huge 12.3-inch TFT display is used in the dashboard. The cockpit controls allow the driver to customize the content being displayed in the screen. If you need speed, acceleration, fuel, distance covered and route map, it can be customized to be shown on the large display. For others who might prefer music, videos or weather reports, it’s just a matter of seconds before you can see what you actually need.

The Audi A5, S5 five door sportback is all set to get launched in stores in Germany in the first half of 2017. The car will be available throughout the continent after which it might find its way to the U.S. market. If the rumors are true, the Audi variants are going to give a tough fight to the BMW 4 Series cars.

2017 Audi A8 Interior Pictures Reveal New Virtual Dashboard

Audi is working on a huge update for its interior design.

The first of its kind was revealed at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show and more details have emerged that gives us a glimpse of how the next gen virtual dashboard would look like.

Virtual cockpit is what Audi is aiming to achieve with its 2017 A8 model. True to the name, the interiors resemble a flight’s cockpit filled with three different touchscreens that are connected to a central dashboard. There is a lower dashboard and instruments panel allowing people on-board to do a variety of tasks at the same time. The touchscreens use OLED technology providing the brightest display and are extremely thin. Such level of tech is new to cars and Audi is ushering them in for the first time.

Explaining the new dashboard concept found in the 2017 Audi A8, Andreas Lamprecht the man behind the innovation said that they are planning integrate the virtual dashboard in all their cars in the next twelve months. When questioned if they are planning to bring it to the A8 first, he responded that the technology will be implemented in the flagship and top end models before it trickles down to other cars.

The virtual cockpit with an OLED screen will debut at a later stage. Some practical issues have to be sorted out including increasing temperatures, screen quality and clarity before it can be implemented in the 2017 Audi A8 besides other models. Haptic feedback will be implemented in all three screens making it easier for the driver to confirm if they have touched the icon, without taking their eyes off the road.

The system used in the upcoming A8 version is capable of following user habits and it will automatically bring up the most used apps to the front. Users can swipe content from the center screen to other parts of the instrument panel as and when required. It also notifies user when they are running low on fuel and a gas station is close by. The AI makes phone calls to home or office with a single touch while providing voice updates for flight timings, weather and traffic conditions.

The automobile brand has partnered with smartphone and technology driven companies in order to bring this virtual cockpit to life. 2017 Audi A8 might make its appearance at the upcoming Paris auto show but there is no official confirmation from the company yet.

2017 Audi A4 Ultra Is Expected To Be Highly Fuel Efficient

Boosting fuel efficiency of a top end variant is no easy task but the team behind the 2017 Audi A4 ultra has manage to pull it off.

The new model which is expected to be highly fuel efficiency made possible by a number of tweaks is heading to dealership stores this fall. The EPA estimated ratings for the car is 27 and 37 miles per gallon in city/highway. The bump is quite significant when compared to the standard model which is 25/33 mpg.

2017 Audi A4 Ultra is still powered by the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine which has been downgraded so as to be more fuel efficient. The base model offered up to 252 horsepower combined with 273 lb feet of torque. It is now reduced to 190 horsepower with 236 lb feet of torque with shorter compression methods. The new A4 Ultra is obviously targeted towards the budget conscious buyer who wants the most miles per gallon and doesn’t mind a reduction in overall performance.

Audi has not only constrained the performance of the 2.0-liter powertrain but despite all the new changes they have managed to keep the pricing lower for the base model. The car starts at $35,850 for premium variant while the premium plus is priced at $39,650. The same trimlines used to be on the higher side as the high end plus was priced at $42,050. By reducing the cost of the car, the brand should now be able to reach a new segment where fuel efficiency combined with affordable price could boost sales by significant numbers.

The 2017 Audi A4 Ultra utilizes a front wheel drive system in all its models irrespective of the trimline you go for. A panoramic sunroof ensures a luxurious ride experience for the passengers. The car has LED interior lighting to set the right ambience and is equipped with the company’s proprietary pre sense, city safety systems. These safety features come in handy when you go on long trips with your family.

Acceleration capability of the Audi A4 ultra is mediocre. The car can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.1 seconds. The downgraded engine contributes to this factor as the 2016 model can do the same in just 6.1 seconds. But, when it’s all about efficiency and less about performance, compromises are inevitable. The model will be available in stores this fall. An official release date is yet to be confirmed by Audi.

Audi R8 Spyder Revamped With New Design And Technology

The Audi R8 Spyder surprised onlookers with its amazing design and technological features when it was first launched at the New York Motor Show this year.

The car made its appearance one more time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016 edition.

It is easily an expensive option to go for, not just for the UK audience but for any buyer in the world. Based on official sources, we know that the next gen Audi R8 Spyder is to be priced at £129,990 and is set to hit dealership stores in fall 2016. The car is equipped with a brand new technology known as Virtual Cockpit. The design has been built from the ground up by Audi engineers. It includes a large 12.3-inch digital display and doesn’t have any analog controls making it look truly futuristic. The standard kit in the car has drive mode selector built-in combined with a leather wrapped steering wheel. The controls are mounted on top of it giving the driver easy access to the infotainment system.

The new Audi R8 Spyder is equipped with a host of new technical and connectivity features. Audi Connect is part of the car which makes it fully compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones. Users can conveniently connect their phones to transfer music, movies and other data from their device to play it on the car’s central infotainment system. A grand aural experience is guaranteed by the Bang & Olufsen sound system. It is mounted on the headrests to bring music closer to the passengers’ ears.

The car is equipped with LED headlights, has carbon fiber finish in many areas and can be upgraded with the Sport Plus pack if you like to. The pack brings adaptive dampers, exhaust note and dynamic steering. The sharp headlights found in most Audi cars are used in the R8 Spyder along with the familiar gaping grille and carbon air scoop. A drop top version of the car is heading to the stores.

It has additional cooling vents and the rear window is vertical which automatically retracts whenever the roof is lowered. Instead of going for solid materials, the Audi R8 Spyder features cloth roof weighing at just 44 kilograms. However, the automobile brand claims that it is stiff made possible by carbon fiber materials and an A-pillar support. The car is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine which renders up to 532 horsepower and can touch 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

2017 Audi A4 AllRoad Pricing Announced, Starts At $44, 950

The 2017 Audi A4 Allroad is ready to find its way to dealership stores. The company has announced that it will head to stores this fall.

The new car has a price tag of $44,950 and it was already showcased at the Detroit auto show this year. Off-road capabilities are the most prominent feature of this new model. The 2017 Audi A4 Allroad is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo four engine which can produce up to 252 horsepower and has 273 lb feet of torque. It is mated to a seven speed S tronic dual clutch transmission system.

While the outgoing model features an eight speed transmission, Audi has decided to go for a seven speed one probably to increase its pulling capacity in rugged road conditions. The pricing is higher when compared to the 2016 edition. It is $1,300 more than the outgoing car and if you already own one, you can probably go for this because of the revamped features. For new buyers, there are plenty of new choices out there and Audi will have to compete with them all in order to pose itself as the best all-road wagon.

All 2017 Audi A4 Allroad cars are equipped with leather seats, panoramic sunroof, LED daytime running lights and automatic climate control compatible with three different zones. The basic features also include the new Audi pre sense basic sensing technology. Powered by this new tech, the wagon automatically adjusts the tension on the seat belts and the sharpness of the brakes in case of an imminent impact.

The Premium Plus trim is priced at $47,950 and the best in the class is the Prestige model priced at $52,350. It includes Audi Pre sense mounted on both the front and rear of the car as well as Audi side assist.

Ground clearance for the new Audi A4 Allroad is much higher at 34mm. It is equipped with underbody protection to withstand bumps, hill descent control, raised roof rails and also has an exclusive off-road driving mode. The mode switches the gear transmission and powertrain to deliver extra oomph factor making it easier to climb rugged or steep roads. The car would ideally suit the requirement of passengers who often find themselves going on adventure trips as it also includes a Quattro all-wheel drive system on all models, irrespective of the trimline you go for.  A higher cargo capacity ensures there is enough space for luggage.

Sleek Audi A6 Set To Arrive In 2018, Big Upgrades Expected

The latest version of the Audi A6 is ready to roll into the market by the year 2018. When it does, it is going to be quite sleek in appearance but being practical at the same time.

Inside sources claimed that the car is going to be high in terms of performance, styling and most importantly a slew of technical upgrades can be expected. Most expect a svelte interior while autonomous technology is definitely not out of the quotient. However, it might take some time before one can allow their cars to drive on its own as they rest in the backseat. Talks are on to introduce hybrid powertrains with the new Audi A6 but it is not going to be fully electric for the convenience of the passengers.

The next big auto expo is the Frankfurt motor show scheduled to take place in Germany next year. Audi might most probably pick the spot for their new A6 and to showcase the highlights of the car before prepping for the 2018 launch. Car enthusiasts opined that the A6 is going to be truly next gen in every respect, be it performance, power boost or the level of comfort it offers to its buyers.

Audi is already building a versatile platform specifically for the A6 sedan and other cars in the series. It is expected to be highly versatile with enough space for the company to mount their batteries in the hybrid models. On-board technology will include a host of safety features to ensure a safe travel along with connectivity add-ons. There could be more new additions which Audi cannot confirm at the moment due to lack of apps and new announcements which will be decided close to launch.

Instead of focusing on creating the same models over and over again, the automobile manufacturer has decided to adopt a new strategy which will enable them to create a distinct identity for each one of their models. The front fascia of the car features the proprietary day time running lights found in most Audi cars. The new A6 will derive a lot of design terms from the original Audi A8. However, designers are keen to make it look distinct and give a whole new feel so that it can be carried out in all future versions.

The wait is long as the Frankfurt motor show doesn’t take place for another year but it could be exciting when the time finally arrives.

Audi Q2 Crossover Lineup Specs and Pricing Announced

The supermini crossover is the most preferred model among buyers and auto manufacturers.

The Audi Q2 crossover further expands the segment. Official specifications and pricing of the new models were announced recently.

The first to make this segment popular was the Nissan Juke. The car witnessed some amazing sales which encouraged other manufacturers to take the route. The new Q2 is the smallest car in the Q series. The base model of the car is priced at £20,230 in the United Kingdom. It is the SE trimline variant which uses a 1.0-liter TFSI petrol engine and is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. A couple of features are included in the base model. Audi’s proprietary MMI multimedia infotainment system is part of the Q2 crossover apart from heated, adjustable mirrors and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The next in the line is the Audi Q2 Crossover Sport trim line which is priced £1,550 higher than the SE variant. For the additional cost, it includes bigger 17-inch alloy wheels, has cruise control, sports seats, automatic lights, wipers and fully adjustable driving modes. S line further expands the options available for £2,250. The distinct price increase also provides your car with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lights for both front and rear, while the interior inlays feature a brushed aluminum finish.

Audi Q2 Crossover has its range topping model powered by a 2.0-liter TDI engine which also boasts of a Quattro all-wheel drive system. The next generation edition of the crossover uses a C-pillar with a floating blade design to impress young buyers. Apart from the sporty finish, the car is offered with a variety of colorful trims to choose from giving one the opportunity to customize the model as they please.

The company has also planned to lure Audi customers into buying the Q2 supermini crossover by offering familiar powertrain and performance. Longtime users of the brand will find very little differences between the new models and the original Audi they are used to. This will help the auto brand reach newer audience as well as convince existing buyers to adopt their new launches. Compared to the Audi A1 and the A3, the Q3 is much smaller in size but has enough legroom for all the passengers.

There are twelve different color choices and different cloth materials to pick for the upholstery. Every feature including the Bang & Olufsen stereo system, smartphone connectivity and the striking design is geared towards pulling young customers into the Audi ecosystem.
