It makes it easier for most buyers to plan their budget and also choose whether they are interested in going the hybrid route this time. The series of updates include better technologies on the inside, luxury interior and styling for the car.

Improved Design and Features

By the year 2026, it is strongly believed that Bentley will be out with a series of electric cars and plug-in hybrid models. With multiple cars in the PHEV segment, there will be little room for the normal cars to exist and that is the plan that most automobile manufacturers plan to follow. In terms of design, the hybrid variant will have a larger grille setup combined with LED Matrix headlights and wider wings for a more aggressive look.

The infotainment system is as packed as it could be because of the large 10.9-inch display with a higher resolution. It should significantly increase the sharpness of the text while it also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto making it easier to connect your smartphones.

2021 Bentley Bentayga Pictures Reveal the Interiors of the Four Seater Variant

The four-seater variant of the 2021 Bentley Bentayga was in the limbo for a very long time even though we knew such a model is in production.

The luxurious car happens to accommodate more people now and will also be a solid improvement when compared to the previous four-seater variants released in the past.

According to official statistics, the Bentayga that could accommodate four people in the most comfortable way possible sold twenty percent of the total count. When the car sells, the automobile manufacturer would obviously want to make more of it. The facelifted version is no surprise as the designers have managed to significantly improve the legroom in this new variant by 100mm. The recline level has been considerably improved so that passengers can enjoy a more comfortable and relaxed journey.

Improved Features, Better Luxury

The recline level in the seats has now been increased from 32 to 40 degrees that provide a relaxing position to opt for during the entire journey. The 2021 Bentley Bentayga 4-seater model was in the making for some time now but the newer photographs provide a much better insight on the design to be expected. There are plenty of great features and upgrades done to the model but it is not surprising considering that this is one of the most expensive, luxurious experiences that only a select few could experience.

Bentley Bentayga Scheduled to Get Launched in April

Bentley has some surprising announcements to make to beat their rival Land Rover from Jaguar.

The brand has decided to reduce the cost of their SUV model by at least $7000 so as to make some better sales.

Bentley Bentayga is coming in the month of April and when it does, it will be priced much lower than its closest competitor the Range Rover SV Autobiography. The car will be powered by a V8 triple turbo diesel engine variant which has been specifically designed to compete in the Australian Grand Prix in 2017. Commenting on the new launch, David Simpson, Asia Pacific manager commented that the powerful new variant is geared towards offering the best towing capacity for the car.

“We are looking forward to reach out to a new set of customers and the new Bentley Bentayga should help us accomplish our goals. The powerful variant is also expected to be more of a collector’s edition for people who like to have the best of everything under their belt. Someone who has a Ferrari for speed and performance can go for the Bentayga for its pulling power,” said Simpson.

Expressing his delight on creating the best off-road vehicle, Simpson said that they are really proud for having created one of the best off-roaders that buyers could go for. “Be it for those who live in the city with an occasional trip to the outskirts or those who spend majority of their time driving the Bentley Bentayga in rough road conditions, our car should suit them all in terms of performance, towing capacity and comfort,” he said.

A couple of features introduced in the new facelifted model include parking assist, city safe, adaptive cruise control, automatic start stop functionality and a lot of other additions to make it a perfect fit for commuters in the city. Simpson clarified that the diesel engine of the Bentayga is the most favored and will start with a price tag of $399,000.

The upcoming model is geared towards buyers in Australia and a similar variant is expected to be out in US, UK among other prominent regions. It may be sometime before the concept model goes into production and we expect it will undergo some changes to offer best performance while balancing its overall experience. Being on the expensive side, the car should meet a lot of expectations and it just might do.

Bentley Bentayga Speed and Similar Models are Under Development

Bentley is all set to upgrade its first ever SUV with a Speed edition and has plans to expand its lineup with more new models under development.

The automaker proudly unveiled their Speed variant at the 2016 Beijing auto show.

Wolfgang Durheimer, head of Bentley speaking during the Beijing show said that there is considerable demand for SUVs in China. The demand is soon going to rise to unprecedented heights and the brand is all set to meet such increase. They are not just going to launch the speed edition of the Bentayga but has couple of models planned to add to the SUV lineup. The auto expo proved that automakers are now increasingly interested in making a mark in the region where the world’s largest buyer group is.

While confirming that Bentley will cater to the Chinese buyers, Durheimer added that even though they are quite interested in changing their production decisions based on what people need, it won’t be the only deciding factor for all their future models. “The purchasing behavior syncs with our personal view at the moment and it makes it all the easier for us to launch our cars. The demand for SUVs is much higher throughout the world and in China,” he said.

The engineers at Bentley are busy trying to choose between a smaller SUV which will sit below the Bentayga and an EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept car. The concept was earlier showcased at the Geneva auto show last year and was received with much fanfare. The brand’s boss confirmed that there will eventually be Speed versions of the Bentayga available in China.

At present, the company offers a Bentayga powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine. The powertrain is capable of producing 600 horsepower with 664 lb feet of torque. It is quite powerful on the road but there are much better models that are yet to get launched in the region. The car uses an eight speed automatic transmission system and can easily accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds.

Anti-corruption steps taken in China played an integral role in bringing down sales of Bentley cars because it targets the elite crowd in the country. Durheimer said that once the laws are withdrawn, they can expect much better sales. It is based on the government’s decision.

“Once everything is normal, we expect our sales to double here,” he said during the interview.

Bentley Bentayga Super Coupe SUV is Coming in 2016

The luxury car manufacturer is going to go at it again and this time they will be releasing a brand new version of the Bentley Bentayga next year.

The new car will be much more sophisticated with plenty of luxurious new additions and will be highly aerodynamic besides being obviously faster than its predecessor. The upcoming Bentley Bentayga SUV will be a super coupe according to the company and is expected to be showcased for the first time in 2016. As expected, the company has picked one of the most popular auto shows in the world during which you will be able to get your first peek at this awesome SUV.

Geneva Motor Show scheduled to take place in March next year is the venue Bentley has shortlisted for their launch. Talking about their new car, product manager of the brand said that it will have a strong focus on on-road performance. It doesn’t mean they are going to skip focusing on interior design and other technology based upgrades, but the car will be all about performance.

Such a notion has developed high among the developers ever since Tesla showcased what their SUV could do with a ludicrous speed mode. If an electric motor powered vehicle could do so much, it is obvious that other automobile manufacturers who still work with gasoline cars want to push the maximum extent of their own vehicles.

The present Bentley Bentayga is powered by a W12 6.0-liter engine which has a top speed of 200 miles per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 4 seconds which is massive, considering the total weight of the vehicle. It also features a huge body in order to give more headroom and stability, but according to reports, the upcoming Bentayga will be much bigger.

The SUV will have a huge bump in terms of size which includes bigger bumpers, spoilers and wheels and sport a sharp design to denote the race car that it is trying to be. We are not sure how a SUV designed to accommodate multiple passengers at once feature sporty looks, but it could probably look sharper, especially in the front. SUVs are usually designed to look huge, which is what Bentley wishes to change, making it sportier and appealing to a majority of the buyer community.

The brand is also planning to launch an all-electric super car which may also be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.

Jaguar Range Rover Ready to Beat the Bentley Bentayga with a $300K Luxury SUV

Jaguar Range Rover is synonymous with the buyers because people automatically associate the brand with the luxury SUV segment.

Little known to everyone, there are many SUVs that are more luxurious, flamboyant and expensive than the higher variants of the Range Rover available in the market today. The Bentley Bentayga is one great example, which is all set to witness the launch of the 2017 edition. Buyers will have to shell out a massive $229, 100 to purchase this epitome of luxury which boasts of leather and wood lined interiors. And, with a view to make it ludicrously expensive than it already is, the company lets you add a Breitling Mulliner Turbillon clock which is priced a bit higher than the total cost of the Bentayga.

With other manufacturers touching the roof with their expensive vehicles, it is no wonder Jaguar wishes to do the same with their Range Rover series. The company’s most expensive vehicle with all the add-ons costs 160,000 Pounds, which is considered cheap, when compared with the likes of the SUVs offered by Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Talking about the launch, John Edwards, Special Vehicles Operations Manager commented that they are looking to expand their line-up with new luxury additions.

“Our buyers definitely believe that the Range Rover is the best luxury SUV that they could get for their money. By expanding the vehicles with additional features like bespoke paint and fully customizable interiors, we offer them more choices to go for”, he said.

Edwards also added that the cost of the new SUV could go as high as 200,000 pounds, making it the most expensive vehicle in the Range Rover series from Jaguar. He admitted that they have stretched the vehicle to its maximum possible size and the team is still looking for ways to stretch it even further to provide more legroom for their passengers.

Brands like Bentley and Rolls Royce look up to them for inspiration which Edwards considers as a great accomplishment. The manager was all praise for those who managed to keep the brand at the top for more than five years in a row. While the technical specifications of the upcoming Range Rover is sparse at the moment, it is evident that it is going to rock the industry when it gets launched.

Most manufacturers are aiming to showcase their next gen cars and SUVs in 2017 or further. We can probably expect the same timeline for the upcoming model from Range Rover as well.

2016 Volkswagen Tiguan, Jaguar F-Pace and Bentley Bentayga lead an Army of SUVs at Frankfurt Motor Show 2015

The topic at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show was obvious, electric vehicles and SUVs. After few years of dominating American and Asian market, SUVs are trying to breakthrough on the European market, where customers are still much in love with sedans.

In Frankfurt, we saw several great SUVs, including the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan, the Bentley Bentayga and the Jaguar F-Pace leading the charge.

2016 Volkswagen Tiguan

Volkswagen was in a familiar area, as this is the company’s second generation of Tiguan. The previous one was released six years ago and the improvements the German company made are obvious. In order to attract European buyers, Volkswagen focused on the exterior, making the 2016 Tiguan look more sporty and dynamic. The increased size gives the Volkswagen Tiguan more space inside and a larger truck. All the standard safety features can be found inside and under the hood, Volkswagen offers the base model of the 2016 Tiguan with a 1.6-liter diesel engine. Three other engines are available, two of which are gasoline and a plug-in hybrid model is also possible in the next few years.

Bentley Bentayga

The luxurious British company finally decides to make its way into the SUV market and did so in style. Powered by a 600hp engine, the Bentayga is the fastest SUV on the market, able to rival some of the sportier coupes and cabriolets out there. Inside, the Bentayga offers the luxury and style that we’ve grown accustomed to see from a Bentley. The British company “borrowed” the MLB platform of Volkswagen to build the Bentayga and the results are evident. The SUV is light, big and spacious and offers tons of features for the driver. Having a refrigerator in the truck, as well as crystal wine glasses and several other goodies are something that the Bentley users would love about the Bentayga. And if you need any references, Queen Elizabeth II got the first model. If the Bentley Bentayga is good enough for the Queen, it is good enough for everyone.

2016 Jaguar F-Pace

Jaguar is another British company that is trying to enter the SUV market. The first SUV by Jaguar is mesmerizing with its exterior, but also dynamic thanks to the engine under the hood. Jaguar has never previously focused on family cars. However, with the market changing, the British company is adjusting to the new trends. And the 2016 Jaguar F-Pace is more than just “adjusting” to the market. In fact, the F-Pace is a revolutionary SUV with more aggressive, dynamic, and sportier look than almost any SUV out there. One rival for the F-Pace is the BMW X6 and its exterior. Powertrains and technology inside are remarkable and the F-Pace will be offered in two trimmings by Jaguar, an R and SVR trimming.

The “Others”

There were many other SUVs presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but hardly any of them were revolutionary in any aspect. We are not including the Audi e-tron here, since it is still a concept car.

One of the more impressive SUVs in Frankfurt was the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class that should replace the old GLK-Class. With compact crossovers gaining popularity, Mercedes decided to improve and freshen up its palette, making the GLC-Class an important part of the future. The new SUV is bigger, longer and wider and rides on a new platform. The exterior is also changed to make it more prominent. Inside, the GLC-Class has all the same goodies as the new C-class.

Next on the list is an SUV by the Asian manufacturer, Mitsubishi. The company presented the Mitsubishi Outlander GT PHEV, a plug-in hybrid version of the 2016 Outlander. Powered by separate motors on the front and rear axles, Mitsubishi also made some changes in the system to make the plug-in hybrid SUV a highly efficient vehicle.

As for those who want sporty, yet cheap alternative, we’ve got the Seat Leon Cross Sport. Judging by the looks, the Cross Sport is the middle ground between a traditional hatchback vehicle and an SUV. Producing 300hp on all-wheel drive system, Seat’s vehicle might be great for young couples.

Last, but not the least on the list is the new 2016 Kia Sportage, an SUV that departs largely from the outgoing model. One look at the front grille of the new 2016 Sportage is all it takes to figure this is a completely new vehicle. With improved and nicer interior and more technology for safety, the 2016 Kia Sportage might entice and appeal to the middle class.

Queen Elizabeth II Gets the First Crack at the Bentley Bentayga Luxury SUV

When you go hunting, you better go hunting in style. At least that is the premise many folks in the UK live by. And it seems like Queen Elizabeth II knows a thing or two about style and luxury.

According to reports, the Queen is the first one to receive the new luxury SUV, the Bentley Bentayga.

And it seems conventional that the British luxury car brand is giving its first model to the most important person in Britain. The Queen already tested a prototype of the Bentayga few weeks ago before the SUV was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, she will be the first to get a production model. The Bentayga will be sent to the Queen to her estate in Scotland, where she will use it for her hunting trips and expeditions.

This is not the first time that Bentley supplies the Queen Elizabeth II with a luxury vehicle. After all, the company has a warrant for supplying Her Majesty, along with Land Rover, Vauxhall and Aston Martin. At the moment, the Queen is driving around in a Bentley State Limousine that the British luxury car maker made especially for the Her Majesty.

Jaguar Land Rover is the company hit the most with this move, as the company was hoping to overtake Bentley as the supplier for her Majesty. Land Rover is already supplying the Royal family with vehicles for the past several years.

With the Bentayga in her garage, the Queen can be sure and safe to travel anywhere in the world. The luxury SUV has been tested on every possible road and in every possible condition. Bentley tested the Bentayga from the Arctic to Sahara, the desert.

Toss in some luxury accessories and tricks and it is understandable why Elizabeth II wants the SUV in her collection. For starters, the SUV features something that Bentley calls “event seat”, which is bench made in leather that you can fold out from the rear of the Bentayga. Other goodies include a picnic set that fits into the trunk of the car, a custom Mulliner Hamper Set, crystal wine glasses, Linley cutlery, diamond-stitched seats inside for extreme comfort and convenience and much more.

Bentley also markets the Bentayga as the world’s fastest SUV. And with a 6.0-liter V12 engine under the hood, it sure is. Packing 600 ponies and paired with an eight speed automatic transmission, the Bentley Bentayga can sprint from 0 to 60mph in just 4.1 seconds.

2017 Bentley Bentayga – Bentley Unleashing the Fastest SUV in the World at Frankfurt Motor Show

For quite some time, Bentley was preparing to enter the SUV market and it is finally happening with the 2017 Bentley Bentayga, an SUV that the company calls “true Bentley”.

The SUV, powered by 600 ponies, is the fastest SUV in the market and combines the two main principles of Bentley: high luxury and refinement. You can also say that the Bentayga is the Bentley of the SUVs.

Fans and prospective buyers will have the chance to see the Bentayga in flesh during the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. However, just days before the big show, Bentley released several photos and specs of the upcoming luxurious beast in the SUV class.

First things first: the Bentley Bentayga features a 600hp V12 engine under the hood. With such power, the Bentayga can sprint to 60 miles in just four seconds, which is a feat few sports cars can achieve. The top speed is limited at 187mph, making this SUV the fastest in the segment. The only one that can come close is the newly launched Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, but the Cayenne is nowhere near the luxury and refinement of the Bentley. The Tesla Model X will be quicker in sprinting to 60mph, but cannot top the maximum speed of the Bentayga.

The body of the 2017 Bentayga is made out of aluminum and is based on the MLB platform by Volkswagen. The same platform is used for the next generation Porsche Cayenne and the Audi Q7.

Once inside the car, customers will find the refinement and the luxury of the Bentley to be mesmerizing. And there are lots of customization options, including a refrigerator for the trunk. Think of it as the ideal storage spot for your bottles of Dom Perignon. Next in the line of luxury accessories is a custom solid gold clock made by Breitling. All the seats inside are handcrafted in leather, wood and metal. The seats are identical for both the front and the rear passengers. Rear passengers get a dedicated Android tablet spot, as well as ventilation and massage options for their seats.

The driver gets an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system in the dashboard with tons of setup options. Drivers can do almost everything by turning a dial. Features inside include traction control, electronic stability control, night vision, hill-descent control, adaptive cruise control, navigation system, adjusting speed control and much more. According to Bentley, there are around 90 controls and commands on the main display.

Comfort customization options, for the inside, include 15 ways to adjust the seats. As this is Bentley we are talking about, there are 17 standard color options, 15 shades of leather for the trimming, 15 carpets, and wheel options from 20 to 22 inches.

The company expects to sell around 4,000 units of the 2017 Bentley Bentayga in the first year. The luxury SUV will hit dealerships next summer.

Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 – Top 5 Cars to Look Forward To

We are two weeks away from the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 event, but we already know all the cars that will debut during the show.

Frankfurt is widely regarded as the largest motor show in the world, even though Detroit, Tokyo and Geneva draw bigger scoops. The sheer volume of Frankfurt Motor Show is astonishing.

This year, many experts believe that the SUV class will rock the event. Will this be the year that the SUV makes its way to Europe? The SUV segment is very popular in the US and Asia, but Europe consumers are still focused on family sedans. Despite some new SUVs, there will be sports cars and family cars that mark the show. Here are five of the most anticipated vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet

It’s been a while since Mercedes offered an S-Class cabriolet. Better said, it is the first time since 1971. The S-Class cabriolet is based on the S-Class coupe Work, but with a few tweaks to make it sportier. The S-Class Cabriolet that will debut during the Frankfurt Motor Show is expected to compete with the likes of Rolls-Royce Dawn and Bentley Continental GTC.

Audi Q6 e-tron

While the Q6 e-tron will debut at Frankfurt, the all-electric SUV will arrive at dealerships in 2018. But that will only build up the hype for a luxurious electric SUV that will take on the Tesla models. Audi markets the vehicle as E-Tron Quatrro concept, but it is widely known that the model that Audi will show at Frankfurt is the next generation Q6 e-tron. Slotted between the Q5 and the Q7 in the SUV range, the Q6 e-tron should provide 310 miles of electric range, little more than the Tesla Model X that will arrive in dealerships this fall.

Jaguar F-Pace

If you need more proof that this is the year of the SUV, Jaguar is here to remind you that even the big name players need the middle class consumers. The Jaguar F-Pace is Jaguar’s first SUV, a vehicle that has been in the rumors for quite some time now. This summer we got the first teaser images of the SUV and it looks like Jaguar is serious about competing with the likes of BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Jaguar can claim the company has one of the best looking SUVs on the market, with styling elements borrowed from XJ sedan and the F-Type coupe. We still haven’t seen the F-Pace without camouflage, but that will happen during the Frankfurt Motor Show where Jaguar’s SUV is expected to be one of the top attractions.

Bentley Bentayga

Bentley is another premium luxury brand that is releasing its first SUV. And in a true Bentley spirit, the company will offer the SUV with V8 and V12 engines, trying to revolutionize the premium SUV segment. With the V12 engine, the Bentley Bentayga will be able to eclipse the 200 mph mark, something that no SUV can do. And of course, those luxury perks come with a price, which is set at $200,000 for the time being. But that is just a base model, and with optional additions, the Bentley SUV can go twice as high.

2015 Renault Megane

For the family people out there, the Renault Megane is still one of the best sedan cars on the market. The 2015 Renault Megane will come as a five-door hatchback, with an estate version to follow. The Megane is sitting nicely in that middle class segment, but comes with premium and luxury features of higher brands. According to the initial spy photos, the 2015 Megane looks a Clio on the back, with some Laguna touches on it.
