Justin Bieber, the Canadian teenage sensation singer, was seen shedding tears unabashedly after his spectacular performance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2015.

The ‘Where are you now’ singer was last seen performing in any awards function way back in May 2013 at the Billboards Music Awards. This public performance came after last weekend’s Billboard Hot 100 enactment and just before the expected release of his new album in November.

His VMA 2015 act seemed, however, to hit all the right chords and his fans were ecstatic that their idol has not lost any of his sheen when it came to creating a spectacular stage performance. There were other highs in the VMA program including a joint act of Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift with an epic recreation of ‘Bad Blood’ performance. There were some lows too, including the one in which Nicki Minaj missed Miley Cyrus in her acceptance speech. But, of course, what left the crowd completely stunned was Justin Bieber’s inexplicable end-of-show tearful breakdown.

The ‘Never say never’ singer’s deliverance of ‘Where are you now’, his summer hit was spot-on. His first-ever public performance of his latest single ‘What do you mean’, which was released on August 28, showed off Bieber’s dance moves and falsettos gladdening the hearts of his innumerable fans. The drama ended with pulsating laser lights and had Bieber floating upwards towards the ceiling, leaving his fans totally in raptures. After his ‘flying’ act and when he landed on firm ground, Justin Bieber, suddenly doubled over and started sobbing into his hands leaving the crowd spell-bound.

While all this drama was happening around Bieber’s VMA performance, many in the crowd were wondering where Selena Gomez, his ex-girlfriend, was and how was she reacting to the situation. But it seemed that the ‘Heart wants what it wants’ singer had already left the VMA 2015 venue along with Taylor Swift and the rest of the ‘Bad Blood’ team even before Bieber’s performance had begun.

In a radio interview with Elvis Duran earlier this month, Justin Bieber had openly admitted, ‘Trusting people is hard, especially for me. I’ve trusted people who I probably shouldn’t have trusted before and they’ve hurt my heart’. He added that he was a very sensitive person and some people exploited this weakness of his.

Miley Cyrus-Hosted MTV VMA 2015 Marked by Justin Bieber Revival and Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj Joint Gig

The MTV Video Music Awards 2015 was marked by many memorable events including the bizarre hosting by Miley Cyrus, revival concert by Justin Bieber and the caught-everyone-by-surprise joint musical gig by Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.

In probably one of the most shocking incidents for VMA audience, Taylor Swift barged onto Nicki Minaj’s performance and the duo gave a rocking opening number, squashing rumors about the purported Twitter feud between the two celebrity musicians.

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj performed the ‘Bad Blood’ number together, while Nicki Minaj also sang a medley of her hit songs including ‘Decked out in red sequins’ and ‘The night is still young’, Minaj’s performance thrilled the audience and fortunately for herself and the audience, she did not repeat the previous year’s ‘Anaconda’ faux pas, although the famed video won her the best hip hop video award this year. During her acceptance speech, the rap diva dissed out at Miley Cyrus, the show’s host, apparently to get back at the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer for insulting her at a recent interview.

‘The Weeknd’ performance of his ‘I Can’t Feel my face’ was a pyrotechnic gig prompting Taylor Swift (living up to her usual tradition) to dance in the audience. The ‘1989’ star was joined by many, including models Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and singer Selena Gomez, all of whom performed in her ‘Bad Blood’ video which won two awards including video of the year. Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ also won her two moon men that night.

Miley Cyrus, as the host of the show this year, seemed to outdo herself in her attempts at grabbing headlines. She did not hesitate to show off her outlandish behavior by flashing her breasts during the last moments of the show and then quipped cheekily to the audience, ‘the VMAs have not had a host in the last two years; a tradition they’ll probably return to immediately after tonight’s performance’.

In an attempted dig at Justin Bieber’s revival concert, which included his ‘flying’ act during the first public performance of his latest ‘What do you mean’, she also commented, ‘I was going to keep my jacket on, but now that I know that Justin Bieber can fly,’ and she zipped open her fur coat to reveal only a skimpy metallic leotard. As she closed the show, she spun another surprise on the audience saying she has released a new album which is available online for free.

Other performers for the awards night included Tori Kelly, Pharrell, A$Ap rocky with Twenty One Pilots and Demi Lovato with her summer hit ‘Cool for the summer’. The highest award of the MTV VMA 2015, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, went to Kanye West. While making the presentation, Taylor Swift shared her childhood memories with the audience saying that the first iTunes purchase she made was as a 12-year-old when along with her brother she bought Kanye West’s ‘College Dropout’. Both Swift and West happily took digs at each other in allusion to an infamous interruption made by Kanye West during a Swift acceptance speech six years ago at the VMA.
