Performance line-up has always been one of the best features that Mercedes has to offer. The company is going to expand their C-class further, by adding a new performance variant – the 2017 Mercedes AMG C43.
Some of the unique features found in the performance variant of the car include special chassis technology, 9-speed automatic transmission system coupled with a 4Matic technology to support its all-wheel driving system.
Talking about the release, the company’s representative expressed their delight in expanding the C-Class coupe and added that by launching a brand new range of 43 models in 2016. The information was confirmed by the chairman of the company.
On the inside, the 2017 Mercedes AMG C43 is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo-charged engine. It has a total horsepower of 362 and has 384 lb feet of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds. The top speed of the AMG modified car is 155 miles per hour, which is fast enough for most drivers.
There are five different driving modes to choose from providing complete versatility to those behind the wheels. Being a sports performance variant, it is obvious that buyers will not only expect it to be fast but also to be versatile enough to suit their needs. With five different driving modes and AMG ride control sports suspension, the company promises to exceed the expectations.
A wide range of luxury components are added to the AMG C43 2017 edition, including distinct air intakes, silver chrome trim and diamond mesh interiors. The high gloss black window frame is incredibly stylish and the two tailpipes are chrome plated for added flamboyance. The car uses 18-inch AMG powered high gloss black wheels while 19-inch wheels can be opted for by paying additional costs.
Seating system is from MB TexDinamica, made of microfiber material. The same comfortable material is used throughout the car, including the center console. There is a contrasting red colored stitching done on specific spots to make the interiors appear exquisite. The 2017 Mercedes AMG C43 Coupe will be the first of many if we are to go by statement made by the company’s chairman.
Mercedes aims to expand the 43 line-up with multiple models in the near feature and probably all of them will have AMG components. The C43 is scheduled to get launched in the United States by fall 2016. Official pricing and trimline variants available are yet to be announced.
